Personal Statement of Faith
The Nicene Creed sums up my beliefs quite succinctly. It was designed to deny any and all heresy yet allow for variety in Christian Worship and Belief. I firmly believe that anyone who cannot agree with it is not an “Orthodox” Christian.
--That said, I do understand that some who are truly devout and not heretical have much difficulty with the idea of a creed.

I was raised Protestant. I still am. I am absolutely certain that you absolutely cannot be a Christian by yourself. There must be at least two present for proper worship, preferably the whole assembly in order to worship God in the way He prefers.

The Lord has shown me that we are truly saved by faith alone. He does all the works. What Our Lord asks of us is Obedience. Only when we are truly obedient to Him do we perform the works that serve Him.

Finally, it took me a while to decide on my Avatar because I wanted to find one that fit this forum. I hope I was successful. In case you don’t understand it, it is a Mobius Strip. That is a three dimensional object that has only one side and one edge. From what I have seen so far, it fits this forum perfectly: a one-sided endless loop.
