Where does the Pope get his authority?

Are you a two gospels dispensationalist?
  4. Titus

God assures us we can understand His word

Also this passage applies to Christians as well as non-Christians. Yes, Paul is speaking to the church at Ephesus. Do you think these verses only apply to them? If so only the Ephesians in Ephesus that are christians, can understand what they read. It would not apply to anyone else!!!

God assures us we can understand His word

No, I wasn't quoting the verse in (parentheses) I was telling those reading this that it is YOU that can understand the Scriptures. But you are correct grammatically.

Where does the Pope get his authority?

The only apostles were the ones we read in the Bible. Therefore those men are who Paul MUST be referring to. Notice what Pau says, 2Thessalonians 2:15, - therefore brethren stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught... Paul says these traditions, those who taught them. Who...

God assures us we can understand His word

I'm not teaching that everyone will understand the Scriptures if they read them without any guidance from a mature Christian. Take a Chinese man who was never allowed to read the Bible his whole life. Then he getscaccess to the word. Is he going to understand what he reads all by himself? I...

Where does the Pope get his authority?

Biblical tradition. You are trying to include uninspired men that came after the completion of Gods holy book. The passages I already quoted DOES NOT ALLOW NOR INCLUDE "TRADITIONS FROM UNINSPIRED MEN. You do out of ignorance. You try to add to the traditions of the new testament church by...

God assures us we can understand His word

I agree, take my word read and know I use it as study or meditate. Amen Amen Amen, preach it!! Amen Ephesians 3:1-5, - whereby when ye read(to know certainly, discern) ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ

Where does the Pope get his authority?

Deut. 4:2, - You shall not add to the  word which I am commanding you, nor take  away from it So that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God
  13. Titus

Where does the Pope get his authority?

Traditions I'm not against. You try to claim tradition is catholic tradition. Paul never said catholic tradition. Paul said to keep the traditions of the APOSTLES. Acts 2:42, - and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship in the breaking of bread and in prayers Not...

SALVATION: BY GRACE OR BY WORKS? A FALSE DICHOTOMY

God has given everyone the free will to choose Jesus. If not mankind is not guilty for his unbelief God is guilty for withholding faith. No err or contradiction. Sir you are contradicting the word, Romans 10:17, - Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God Sir, our faith only comes...

God assures us we can understand His word

Ephesians 3:1-5, - how that by revelation He made known unto me the mystery as I wrote afore in few words - Whereby when ye(You, not someone else) read ye(You, not someone else) may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ Paul is telling You, that what was once a mystery God has...

Where does the Pope get his authority?

Translated, Scripture and catholic church tradition never contradict one another. That's funny

Where does the Pope get his authority?

This is all uninspired men!!! You catholics always try to prove your unbiblical interpretations NOT WITH BOOK, CHAPTER AND VERSE BUT WITH OUTSIDE SOURCES APART FROM THE BIBLE. This entire post PROVES NOTHING Commentaries are nothing but MANS OPINIONS

Where does the Pope get his authority?

I could care less what protestant's think. I'm not a protestant I am a member the the Lords church, the one in the new testament. The only church that came before the great harlot. I go by what Inspired men teach. That is only the apostles doctrine, Acts 2:42, - and the Christians continued...

Where does the Pope get his authority?

That has absolutely nothing to do with those scholars books. The reason those sources were posted is to prove that Jesus and the Jews in the 1st, century SPOKE GREEK, TAUGHT IN GREEK AND WROTE IN GREEK. BreadofLife claimed none of the apostles or Jews spoke Greek in the 1st. Century. An...
