Ad hom response noted. FYI I have never been a Universalist.

    How to Test the Spirits?

I'm not tempted to think our Heavenly Father does lead anyone into temptation.

    How to Test the Spirits?

Let's try it with a comma or pause after lead. Lead us, not into temptation, but deliver us etc. The Holy Spirit didn't lead Jesus into temptation in the desert, but to be tempted as preparation for His Ministry and Mission. Mat 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to...

    How to Test the Spirits?

From start to finish the Bible deals with Man versus God in a conflict of wills. Satan tempts Man to oppose God's Will, and God tests Man to see if we will remain faithful to Him, which should be our desire, as expressed when the Lord's Prayer is prayed in earnest.

    Why did God...

But it is true that we were made sinners because of Adam's disobedience. There is a symmetry of cause and effect in play as this verse explains: Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.

    Skepticism versus gullibility

Scepticism is not unbelief, nor cynicism, but doubt due to incomplete knowledge. I could do a rant about cultism and the promotion of gullibility, but I've moved on.

How many consider Adam our father?

Trolling Smart People With Dumb Comments For Fun

There's a British TV show called "Strictly No Dancing" which gets celebrities together, and if they start dancing when the music plays they get punished by the judges! That's right isn't it?

Trolling Smart People With Dumb Comments For Fun

As a teaching tool in Children's Ministry making a deliberate error to see who picks up on it can keep the children engaged. Examples: # When Jonah swallowed the whale . . . # When Noah filled the ark with people . . . # When Jesus turned the wine into water . . .

Reader Poll - Where did the Bible come from?

All Scripture = All the Bible When Timothy was written to by Paul his use of the term "all Scripture" covered: All the Books of what became known as the Old Testament All the Books that would become known as the New Testament God-breathed means originating from God, the expelling of His Spirit...

Poll: Do we worship the God of the old covenant?

Yeah. If the ground is wet from a lot of rain the hangi pit should be lined with corrugated iron. That didn't happen a few decades ago when an AOG with a Maori pastor held a public evangelistic event with a much advertised hangi, and those who attended couldn't be fed from it because the food...

Reader Poll - Where did the Bible come from?

    Yes. All Scripture is God-breathed.

Reader Poll - Where did the Bible come from?

The Bible itself speaks about mysteries and revelations. At my parent's insistence I enrolled at University and began to study Law. The very first lessons were on The Legal System and included text books which cited the Bible to explain the source of various principles enshrined in Law...
