Well, it took me long enough to get around to it, but Christianity Board now has a new Bible Study available: 666: The Number of the Beast, Here is Wisdom. The study looks at the mystical number of the beast that has confused so many folks. God placed this study on my heart a week or so ago. It's a topic brushed briefly in other studies that CB provides, but it was something that needed more attention to detail. I hope and pray that you will benefit from it, and that I allowed God to speak through me while writing it.
One thing I'll make a note about is that I used the ESV - English Standard Version - for this lesson. Ya'll probably have noticed me using it earlier, but I wanted to point out that I am using newer versions to deliver God's Word in more modern language. I know some folks really have an issue with the archaic language of the King James Version, so this is my way of trying to help everyone out. I'm not a person that says you must use this or that version, but some are definitely better than others. Feel free to choose your own, where ever the Spirit may lead you!
Thanks and God bless!

Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
"There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, in the end, 'Thy will be done.' All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened." - CS Lewis, The Great Divorce

Hi,
Tried to post on new Bible Study Topic (666) but was not allowed to.
Went to "Help" - clicked and searched all around to no avail.
If I'm not allowed that's ok...just didn't know if I should just accept that or
get further help if I AM allowed to post.
What are the prerequisites?
Thanks, Miss Hepburn

Our Bible Study area is closed to posting. Feel free to start a topic about it in the appropriate forum otherwise, but unfortunately a few bad apples forced me to restrict posting in that area.
