Jeremiah 23:29 Is not My word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

The rock is....

Deuteronomy 32:31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Their rock and his little pebbles are our enemies.....

Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

The food and water we feed them is the Word of the Lord. That is the fire heaped on the head of Satan.

Revelation 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

The fire from the mouth of the many "two" witnesses is His Word.

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Luke 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels He saith, Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire.

His ministers, His witnesses, His saints are....the flames of fire for they speak His Word, His fire! His Holy Spirit reveals the deeper meaning of His Word, the "cloven tongues" of fire on each of His witnesses.

But, their rock also issues "fire." A very destructive fire.....

Revelation 9:17-18 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

Hi Whirly,
Can you now tie all that together and tell us in your own words what that all means above? Or means to you?
Thanks,
:) Miss Hepburn

Did you see an ad for "House" on Fox where he is on a date and she says, "...and I'm on fire for the Lord."
Then, the blank look on House's face? It was a good one portraying carnal minded men in America and how out of touch
they are when a person has God in their lives. You can see the wheels turn as they are saying sarcastic things in their heads.
Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
The menu is not the meal.

Hi Miss Hepburn....I was on another forum today and saw the name Spencer Tracey. I wondered if maybe he was your significant other??? :)

What the OP means to me is the fire from the mouth of the witnesses is His Word. The fire from the mouths of Satan's folks, the false witnesses, is deception but so cleverly spoken that one would think it is the word of the Lord. We, as His witnesses, are taught by the Holy Spirit and take that revelation to others. We are His flames of fire.

Yes, I saw the House ad but didn't see it as you did....I'll have to pay more attention next time. What I remember is after the woman claimed to be on fire for the Lord she then said...."and I want to get a breast augmentation," (I'm paraphrasing.). All in a day's work for the writers to show how silly or insincere Christians are. I'm surprised she wasn't wearing an enormous cross around her neck....shown hanging right between the area to be augmented. I've noticed on so many shows and movies that the most nasty, vile, hoodlums wear the largest crosses. <_<

God is like a consuming fire, Jesus has fire in His eyes, God appeared to Moses as a burning bush, God led Israel around the wilderness by a pillar of fire, when the three Hebrew boys were cast into the fiery furnace God was there with them, potters use fire to bake clay pots, and fire is used to refine gold and silver and to proof and temper steel, fire and brimstone (sulfur) are used to purify, yet many want to speak of the lake of fire as being separated from God.Posted Image
Jesus is Lord and there's nothing you can do about it!
