Evolution becomes a cause for debate only when Christians think that creation has been accomplished. But there are many references in the bible suggesting that God is "still working". If God is still working and creation is still yet to be completed, then evolution must be the creation that is still going on.
If we are supposed to be created in God's image, then we are not yet created because God is light and we are certainly not lighted up yet. But there is one who has been lighted up - Jesus. His glorification on the mountain top when he face and clothes were transfigured into brilliance. He was indeed the first fully created being of...
yeh, it is strange.. you can have many intelligent conversations with... just anyone... fill in the blanks.
But the virulently anti-Catholic people, the ones who believe just ANYTHING that an anticatholic says... don't do any research to find out what the RCC really teaches, no study of history
Well.. no exaggeration... I cannot BELIEVE anyone over the age of 25 believes some of this nonsense... like the post i just read about how allegedly some Catholics believe the pope is GOD (or an equal with him)!!

What does it mean to be a disciple? What areas in you walk have helped you to grow as a follower of Jesus? Are there things going on in our lives that make it difficult to be a genuine disciple? How can we be more effective in making maturing disciples? Are you currently mentoring anyone and building disciples? If so, how do you initiate and build those relationships?

He didn't want to truly accept and embrace Jesus and His way
We can assume he is in Hell b/c Jesus said it would have been better had he not been born
Until recently I thought Christians should definitely get involved w/ politics.. so we can have Christian leaders.. a more christian world.. a better world for our precious children and grandchildrne.. and then i followed this election cycle very closely on both CNN and Fox.. and boy, was that an eye-opening experience!
I learned that both stations want a liberal president!
both seem to want Hillary to be elected.. Any conservative following the news last few months knows of what i speak
so now i see this very bad thing: how Christians are excluded from politics, more/less
to paraphrase Reagan: I didn't leave politics, politics left me
(as u may know Reagan said he didn't leave the Dem party, the Dem party left him)
I say the same...
Should women be punished for abortion (if Roe v Wade overturned)?
Well, it stands to reason that if something is against the law, there should be a punishment involved for non-compliance.
I dont think it should be as stiff a punishment as the one the abortionist gets, though
