This study explains why the weekly Sabbath is no longer observed and what it actually foreshadowed. The study can be found in English here The True Sabbath and the Millennial Rest Foreshadowed | Wisdom of God or in Spanish here El Verdadero Sábado y el Descanso Milenario Prefigurado | Sabiduria de Dios . Let us begin a discussion on these matters.
Sup all, post any wonderful pictures of nature, space, cute animals, have fun!
Here's a picture of an aurora, anyone from Victoria would be amazed where this picture is taken at, it was taken from Pakenham South, which is crazy. Those living in the Northern hemisphere, the distance from the poles from Pakenham South to South Pole is probably equivalent to the northern border of Oklahoma to the North Pole, so for someone to get a picture of an aurora like that there is crazy.
I have experimented around before trying to get pictures of Auroras at Kp 5 and Kp 6, maybe tried at Kp 7 too, I have kinda given up, and put that failed-hobby to rest, maybe 1 day it will be successful hobby, I live 40 km from the city and it's near impossible to...
Is there a recipe for discipleship?
Let’s see if we can’t find a verse that is just that, a recipe. Now we all know that the scriptures are not filled with recipes of any kind. Mind you, could the 10 commandments be called a recipe for good, honest, respectful living? Perhaps it is.
I once thought, if I was to do this kind of search, I should probably define what would be the beginnings of discipleship and what would be the end. The beginning would have to be Salvation. We can’t become a disciple of Jesus without turning our lives over to Him. And what is the end goal for a disciple of Jesus? Would it not be unconditional love, the very love of God?
So is there a verse that encompasses those two parameters, salvation and love, and...
1Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:5 proclaim this truth. None of the surrounding verses even hint that this healing is physical, mental or emotional healing.
Wouldn't this healing be spiritual? Reconciliation with God? Peace with God?
So, why do the faith healers use these verses to "prove" they have the spiritual gift of healing?
In our Theology, the Study of the Godhead, are we correct in our beliefs and doctrine on the subject. there are many doctrines in the world, but are all correct? there are some doctrines, to some people, that are supposed to be the foundation pillars of their beliefs, and that’s Good, but are these beliefs in line, and upon line with the bible.
Just think for a second, in the back of our minds, do we really have total faith in our God “GIVEN” or man given doctoral beliefs that we stand on, or (sometimes on the middle of the fence). the bible states, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good”. (1 Thessalonians 5:21). And 1 Corinthians 1:10 "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the...
Have you ever wondered why Jesus changed water into wine as His first miracle?
When you think of it, the majority of the people at the wedding didn’t even know he did it. The servants knew and perhaps His disciples did, but certainly the festive crowd didn’t. So what was the reason for that? Why not heel 10 lepers? That would have been spectacular. Or, what about delivering a demonized individual? That could have been more sensational. Better still, Jesus could have raised a dead person. Now that’s what I call dramatic.
Nope, Jesus changed water into wine. Hmm! Is there maybe more to that than meets the eye. Let’s have a look.
When the wine ran out, Jesus told the servant to fill 6 waterpots with water. We are told that these pots...
Questions concerning the Kingdom of God
I have not studied theology. When I read scripture, it seems to speak things multidimensional, things I do not quite understand. I would like to trust it is the spirit teaching, but since I am unsure, I would like to test those things through others who have studied theology and have put in the time dividing the Word of God. Warning: this could be completely wrong and may not align with scripture. Is David a type for God the Father? Is Solomon a type for Jesus Christ, the son—the dead and, now the living child?
1) David has more than any other in scripture.
2) Jesus Christ takes David’s throne.
2) Solomon builds His fathers house and his house. In addition, Solomon builds it out...
Seems there is a lot of confusion over what we are here for.
I asked whats it look like to walk like Jesus and there was a lot of shyness about that question. I would think this would be the same.
What do you spend all your time on and what do you think you are supposed to be spending your time on?
