If you're still one of those people who haven't recognized the times that we're in or even if you have, the news is running a story from Indonesia which is at once both bizarre and frightening. I haven't seen an explanation in terms of this being a "natural" event or a man made one, but these are dark days indeed:
I AM WHO I AM – The Nature of the Almighty
Who is God? What is God’s nature? Humans struggle on comprehending the nature of God because of their human conscious and the way they insist on attributing human limitations upon God. They then wonder why they could never understand God, scripture, nor any theological subject with complete clarity. Humans have a tendency to be presumptuous, not knowing the nature of God but yet tried to explain away from their ignorance; lacking proof and evidence. [appeal to ignorance] Human perception is vulnerable to become deception. The scripture (Christian bible) is the only paramount evident worthy to be taken as authority and proof. The scripture is the only way to verify and discern the position of...
then i guess Jesus is a liar? He mentions eternal Hell in several psgs, one of which is Mt 25:31-46. If you don't read any other psg in the Bible all year, you should read that one. It prety much sums things up vis a vis the Christian life and after life
people who say Hell doesn't last forever are either in the dark or and/or.. trying to justify their sins..
I can u/stand both places.. been there.-- except never tried to justify mortal sin too much
Here is something interesting (maybe scary): I could not give up this one sin no matter what.. until i came back to hte Catholic Church (rosary, Holy Mass). The rosary began to disabuse me of many false thoughts and beliefs, and gave me the Holy Spirit in a far bigger way than......
The religious Christian Church is (and has been since the RCC came into existence) teaching a blended, harmonized gospel that takes what Jesus and His Apostles preached to the Jews which included the Law and what Paul preached for the grace Church that excluded the Law and mixes them together. These teachings were never meant to be blended, harmonized together. When you do it you destroy both messages. The scriptures teach we are to “rightly divide the word of truth,” not blend it together.
3 Yet not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.
4 And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus,...

Their words almost knocked me over. They hit me like a horse hoof to the gut.
When I was a young boy, I helped my father train quarter horses. And we always felt the danger of being the recipient of a wayward hoof. One day, not paying close attention, I was kicked, leaving a well-defined hoof print in the center of my stomach. Every ounce of breath left my body.
Decades later, challenging words delivered by believers from an Islamic background left me just as breathless....
12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. - Mark 11
William Tyndale (1494-1536) Biblical translator and martyr; born most probably at North Nibley (15 miles south-west of Gloucester), England, in 1494; died at Vilvoorden (6 miles north-east of Brussels), Belgium, Oct. 6, 1536. Tyndale was descended from an ancient Northumbrian family, went to school at Oxford, and afterward to Magdalen Hall and Cambridge.
William Tyndale was the Captain of the Army of Reformers, and was their spiritual leader. He was the first person to take advantage of Gutenberg’s movable-type press for the purpose of printing the scriptures in the English language. Tyndale was a true scholar and a genius, so fluent in eight languages – Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Spanish, French, Italian, English, and German, that...
All are under sin:
It was asked by someone “would God ask us to do what we couldn’t do?“
The answer is yes, He asked the Jews to keep the Law of Moses. However, when they, the Jews, killed their Messiah (Jesus) He concluded that no man could keep the Law of Moses and He had another plan to save sinful men, a plan to shed the blood of His righteous Son on the cross to pay for the sins of mankind.
9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
10 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could...
A Different Look at GenesisI thought it would be interesting to write about this instead of end-times for a change. Some of you may have read bits and pieces of my thoughts on this but I thought it was time I put them altogether into one comprehensive piece.
I am a creationist but I'm also not a "young-earther". Sometimes we have to look at what the bible doesn't say on an issue to grasp a larger truth. Our God is eternal so could this rock we call earth have been around for a billion years or so before God decided to redesign it? Sure, I can live with that. If a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day to God, could creation have taken 7000 years? I'm open to that possibility...
