Pro-abortion groups recognise that it is legal to convict a person for the murder of a foetus if the foetus is removed from the womb of its mother by force and against her will. This indicates to me that the Law is ambiguous and vaguer of this issue, if the mother decides she does not want the foetus or child in her womb, she can legally have it removed by some doctor, and decide that her foetus was not a person, but simply a piece of flesh to cut out of her body....
The current Christian 'understanding' of The Trinity and The Godhead, is not correct. Christian ministers have relied on 'vanity' to interpret the Word of God. Not one has seriously consulted with God, in order to properly interpret The Word. They may be 'ordained by man', but are they 'anointed by God'? God cares nothing about educational 'diplomas/degrees'. He wants each of us, to search for the truth, individually, by seeking wisdom from Him [seek/knock/ask].
Review Isaiah 44:6, John 1:18 and 5:37, Acts 7:55-56, Matthew 3:17 and 17:5, 2 Peter 1:17, Revelation 1:6 and chapters 4 & 5. Add to this, the knowledge that Isaiah feared for his life, when he saw the figure on the throne, and therefore, ASSUMED he had seen The Lord of Hosts....
Why I reject karma and reincarnationBy Alan McDougall
Karma is a belief that a person has to live many lives and improve in each until they become an ascended master and finally lose self-awareness into the mindless soup of the cosmic mind
Alternatively, one chooses their own next life from the spiritual plane in order to learn something in the next.
It is claimed by some variants of this illogical belief that one might have to live sometimes millions of lives before becoming perfect to escape the cycle of birth and rebirth and find enlightenment.
I believe this Karma is nonsense and will list my objections to this belief below.
1) The bible says it...

Steven Karson of The Wanderer has spoken of a need for an “American Cincinnatus” a president who would exert executive power to an extraordinary (but legitimate) degree to save the Constitution… [including] simply refusing to enforce Supreme Court decisions that are un-Constitutional (Roe v Wade is the worst...).

It is the radical homosexual activists who are doing exactly what they accuse us Christians of doing to them. They use the weak-kneed government, the biased, liberal news and entertainment media and the corporations whose boards of directors often include radical homosexual and pro-abortion supporters, to bully the rest of us.

I don't agree w/ Johnson on a few things, but he has soemthing the other candidates do not: integrity
When was he ever accused of endangering US security?
enriching himself @ the taxpayer's expense?

In order not to derail the thread on homosexuality, this thread has started to explore the issue of gender roles in the local church. Should any roles exist? Did the work of Christ eliminate all gender distinctions as they relate to roles of leadership or submission? What does it mean that there is "no longer male nor female?" How should we understand 1 Timothy 2:1-15 and 1 Corinthians 14:33-40? How should we understand Eph. 5:22-24 and 1 Peter 3:1-6? Is our push for egalitarianism in the church and home more driven by a Western, rights-driven culture or is it guided by the work of Christ?
The Roman Catholic Church claims that the early Christians were all Roman Catholics, and that (aside from the Orthodox Church) all Christians were Roman Catholics until the Protestant Reformation. It claims that the Apostle Peter was the first Pope, ruling from Rome. It also claims that it gave us the Bible.
But do these claims stand up to the test of history? Or are they false credentials?
There is historical evidence that the Roman Catholic Church began with Emperor Constantine. Many Protestants believe that throughout Church history, there have been many true Christians who were not Catholics, and these Christians were often killed by the Catholic Church. They also believe that Peter was just one of the apostles, and that the...
● 1Pet 3:15 . . Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks
you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
That passage should probably always accompany this next one.
● Rom 8:23-25 . .We ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, groan
inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons: the redemption of our
bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at
all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not
yet have, we wait for it patiently.
The New Testament Greek word for "hope" in those passages is elpis (el
pece') which means to anticipate (usually with pleasure)...
