A Quick Visit Home: A Near Death Experience
During my time in our small rural community in the forest, I got extremely unwell. It takes a lot of effort to find the right resources to get to see a doctor and there wasn’t any access to medical facilities available for small villages like the one we lived in. So my mom was concerned and went out to find a way to get me to see a doctor. I was around 7 or 8 at the time and was laying in bed struggling with some kind of illness.
I was drifting in and out of consciousness when suddenly, I found myself close to the ceiling. I looked down and could see my dying body lying sleeping in bed. I understand now that I was in my spirit.
Then somehow outside my home and I quickly moved upward.
I ended up in what appeared to be a covered pathway and I was slowly moving forward. Suddenly a man appeared coming from the other direction (which I believe to be Jesus) and he said “what are you doing here? Go back” I replied, “but I don’t want to go back down there” Instantly, clouds began to part and I could see the world as if you were looking from a satellite and then being able to zoom in on certain areas.. The earth was slowly moving on its axis and I could make out trees, beautiful greenery and some buildings.
Moments after seeing the earth and replying to Jesus, I was back in my body which was like going back to a furnace of fire, breathing difficulty, nausea and pain. It took a while for me to recuperate from that illness and I still do not know what it was but I do remember ending up in a main medical hospital, having an MRI, daily injections and staying there for two weeks.
So now I know that it was not my time to go home but someday, I will go back there and he will welcome me in, the Lord willing. Glory!
