1 Chronicles 22:7-8 [7] And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the Lord my God: [8] But the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight. 7. "...wounded in the house of my friends."

The deceitful kiss of an enemy: Matthew 26:48-50 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. [49] And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. [50] And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. Proverbs 27:6 [6] Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Zechariah 13:6-7 [6] And one shall say unto...

  10. GIVING IT ALL UP

The Lord wants to bring us to the place of the burning bush (Exodus 3:1-5). This revelation is what enables us to surrender all. It allows us to love and trust Him so completely that we lay down our agendas, turn aside from the everyday, and launch out into the miraculous. It is what ignites us to be His flames of fire that burn - so the world might know His light.

  12. What thing is this? What new doctrine is this?

What thing is this? What new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they obey him. Mark 1:25-27 “And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. [26] And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. [27] And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean...

  14. EXUDING THE ESSENCE OF CHRIST

There must be an experiential quality to our walk with the Lord. Not only do we experience Him in a tangible way but we also exude the SPIRITUAL LIGHT that has been deposited within us to reach out and take a spiritual interest in the lives of others. "You are the light of the world...Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house...Let your light shine before men..." - John 5:14-16
  15. LIVING IN GOD'S PRESENCE

Some believers struggle with pity and overvalue emotion. Scripture reveals that faith, more than tears, moves the heart of God. The Lord wants to develop an intimate, mature relationship with these emotionally-driven believers, but unless they die to self-pity and selfishness, their self-absorbed tears will blind them to the ministry of the Spirit and the needs of others. "And without faith it is impossible to please God." - Hebrews 11:6 God designed you to be a powerful part of His...
