Daily Devotional - August 22, 2019

  • Welcome to Christian Forums, a Christian Forum that recognizes that all Christians are a work in progress.

You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

1 Timothy 2:1 - "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them."
Luke 6:28 -"bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."

When we bless someone, we are, in essence, saying, "May all of God's good plan for your come to pass." When we bless others, the blessing comes back to us. Not only should we bless those whom we love and admire, but God also commands us to bless our enemies so that we might inherit a blessing from Him.

When we bless our enemies, we place them in God's hands and trust that His best for them will be worked out in their lives, including the recognition and repentance of their sins.

Prayer:
Father, teach me to bless and never to curse. You have blessed me, and I want to always release Your blessing to others. I want them to experience Your good plan for their lives. Bless each thing I lay my hands to do. In Jesus name. Amen.
