"Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; who was faithful to Him that appointed Him, as also Moses was faithful in all His house" - Hebrews 3:1-2

The word "profession" in the Greek means: an agreement; terms of surrender; confession. What does it mean when it says that Jesus is the "Apostle of our profession"?
It means that we walk in agreement with Him, because He is the very living Word! His promises belong to us. This means that we come into agreement with God's Word through faith and what we speak. Jesus is our Apostle and High Priest; He stands with us on the promises of His Word and desires for us to step fully into them.

A confession is something we believe, something that we have spoken out of the mouth — something spoken with authority! It is similar to a decree. We experienced salvation by believing in our hearts and confessing out of our mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9). This is the recipe of faith and that which brings about the manifestation of God's promises in our lives.

THE POWER OF THE DECREE

The apostle Peter said, "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God" - 1 Peter 4:11. The word "oracle" when translated in Greek means an utterance of God. When we begin to release the decree, we suddenly become the mouthpiece of God!

The Bible says to decree a thing, and it shall be established (Job 22:28). When you speak and release a decree, your words carry power, and it establishes something in the spirit realm!

We begin to decree and take authority in the Spirit realm!
It's time to release the decree.
It's time that we begin to speak and see the blessings of God overflow around us.
Let it be in our hearts this day, that we would be so bold to declare: "On Earth as it is in Heaven!"

What will you decree to happen in your life in 2020?

What will you dare to believe God for?

What will be the fruit of what you will speak into existence?
