Another story. “God’s kingdom is like a pine nut that a farmer plants. It is quite small as seeds go, but in the course of years it grows into a huge pine tree, and eagles build nests in it.”

My new church says this every Sunday morning. It used to bother me so much, because I was raised on the mustard seed parable. Waaaaay different then King James lol. But Forgiven church uses a lot of different versions of the Bible. After the thirteenth or so time, the true message of it really sunk in. It isn't just about our faith here. This is in the same passage as the sower parable on different grounds, then goes into what the kingdom of God is like. This is about God's Kingdom growing in us basically and showing fruits out of us. And physical growth as well. There is greatness inside of us. It just can't stay hidden!!! Our faith brings forth fruit, and it should.
Jesus is the Healer, the King, the Savior, the Redeemer, my hero and friend. I want my life to look like Him. I want people to be able to look at my faith and want what I have. I want to be able to help others while serving God's kingdom.
