Read Matthew 12:1-13; 22-45

Jesus, knowing they were out to get him, moved on. A lot of people followed him, and he healed them all. He also cautioned them to keep it quiet, following guidelines set down by Isaiah: Look well at my handpicked servant; I love him so much, take such delight in him. I’ve placed my Spirit on him; he’ll decree justice to the nations. But he won’t yell, won’t raise his voice; there’ll be no commotion in the streets. He won’t walk over anyone’s feelings, won’t push you into a corner. Before you know it, his justice will triumph; the mere sound of his name will signal hope, even among far-off unbelievers.

Matthew 12:15‭-‬21 MSG

-so this has nothing to do with politics, but a simple "wwjd answer" to what is going on in this day and age is right here. There is so much yelling and hurt on both sides, nobody hears each other. Jesus is our example. Wow. I like NASB, but the Message feels like when I was a child and fell in love with this Children's Bible. It is opening my eyes to Revelation I didn't see before. Just didn't have an open mind to try it. Raises in a "KJV only" atmosphere. Then in a college ministry, switched to "NASB" only. Why this stuck out to me also:

“There is far more at stake here than religion. If you had any idea what this Scripture meant—‘I prefer a flexible heart to an inflexible ritual’—you wouldn’t be nitpicking like this. The Son of Man is no lackey to the Sabbath; he’s in charge.”

Matthew 12:6‭-‬8 MSG

The pharisees were so concerned for the law, they lacked compassion. They didn't understand the true message of God's Word. I don't want to be a pharisee, I just want to be a sheep and follow Jesus. Baa baa baa! :)
