I remember God giving me dreams about Siam many years before my trip there. He called it Siam but I had no idea where that was. He showed me mountains and hillsides with what appeared to be rice growing on it and the people who looked toward my direction in hope. He verified this call by sending prophets on three different occasions to tell me that God is sending me there. (Thailand was once called Siam. Thailand meaning"Free Land.)
About 10 years later, I had another dream. I was riding an elephant wearing a male arab Keffiyeh, singing "By The Rivers of Babylon and crossing a river.
Not long after that dream, I went to Thailand on a missions trip with 3 others. It was extremely hot there compared to NZ to say the least. Someone we met during our time there, gave me a red checkered headscarf type thing to wear because my hair was very long.
So I took it with me everywhere. Anyway, we made our way up to Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand in the Golden Triangle. (drug lord territory)
Our team decided to spend some time in an elephant sanctuary and that was totally awesome!!
Suddenly my memory came flooding back to me like a flash as I was wearing what I now understand to be an arab Keffiyeh, riding an elephant across a river! So I slowly at first....started to sing "By The Rivers of Babylon" I think God was reminding me that he will open every door when he has a plan for our lives and can make the impossible, possible.
God also gave me revelation about his heart for the people of this nation (Free land) who are in bondage by an evil god who has enslaved them into a culture of poverty and trade of all kinds including humann trading. Many were saved during my time there...
