I was cycling home today at dusk, and I was so worried that a car might hit me. You see, it was traffic time and I didn't have any lights with me. I hadn't anticipated coming home so late. Therefore I was on my bike with no lights at all in near total darkness. I felt like kicking myself for being so stupid. All it would take is a little bump and I'd be flying through the air. Then I realised that is what we so often do in life. We cycle about at high speeds with dangers all around us with no light to show us the way. We need the Word of God to direct us or we will eventually get hit.
Psa 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
