What is the darkness? Pride, arrogance, hated, oppression, condemnation, haughtiness, respecter of persons, absence of love, absence of grace, absence of mercy. Absence of Christ. Nowhere in the fruits of the Spirit listed in the word of God is there any of these listed as fruit. The fruit comes out of bowels of mercies...(plural).
There is no pride here. Pride has made its way into the church (buildings). Maybe it was always there and the reason He took mercy without the gate.
Luke 22:41-42

Matthew 7:21 needs some serious consideration: "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?"
Orphans=those without a Father.
Widows=those without a Husband.
=those that are hungry for Him. Question is: are we more interested in glorifying our self, or Christ who showed us bowels of Mercy while we were yet in sin? Who will be Christ to them?
