"Jesus said to them, 'My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.'' - John 5:17
Because we are so prone to neglecting and forgetting about the needs of other people, we think that God is capable of being slothful toward us. And so we accuse Him of neglecting us when circumstances become painful, or simply not to our liking.
Isn't that the way our lowly, self-centered nature works?
When we are awakened in the Spirit, we see that God never sleeps (Psalm 121:2-5) -- that He is always moving about His work and that our lives are moved under the all-wise directing of God.
Now, as we awaken in spirit, we are able to see that He looks upon us in compassion, His eyes brimming over with flowing grace -- as His works are good...and only good… giving us the revelation we need to advance His Kingdom through our calling in Christ.
