2 Corinthians 13:5 - "Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you— unless indeed you fail the test?"
QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:
Do I need to renew my vows today?
Do I need to come back to the altar of His presence?
Do I need to come back to the place where my sole satisfaction is found in Him?
Have I built a new altar that looks good, and looks pretty, but I have removed the sacrifice? -- there's no blood on it (it hasn't cost me anything)!
Have I removed my offering and replaced it with a list of demands, where covenant was forgotten and replaced with what's convenient.
Have I traded His grace (enabling power) for just another taste of the world where I was never created to look like?
Have I traded holiness for the sake of "fitting in?"
Have I traded my prayer time for partaking in the pleasures of this world, and have forsaken my first love?
Do I remember the place where I said, "God, everything I have is Yours; it all belongs to You. Take me and use me for Your glory"?
