If interested, please, read part one first. Bel and the dragon: "Now Daniel had commanded his servants to bring ashes, and those they strewed throughout all the temple in the presence of the king alone: then went they out, and shut the door, and seal it with the king's signet, and so departed. Now in the night came the priest with their wives and children, … and did eat and drink up all."

Ashes:
"And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh." (Exodus 9:8)

Psalm 147:14-16
[14] He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. [15] He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. [16] He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

Exodus 16:14-15
[14] And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. [15] And when the children of Israel saw it , they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was . And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat.

Isaiah 61:3
[3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord , that he might be glorified.

Song of Songs 3:10-11
[10] He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem. [11] Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.

The pavement ‘paved with stones’ led to the seat of judgment where Our King stood before Pontius Pilate. The way was paved with Love. Our King walked our steps and witnessed a good confession before Pilate. The Son of everlasting peace was crowned in the day of his espousals by the Mother of us all (Jerusalem which is above) (Galatians 4:26), in the day of the gladness of his heart.

Isaiah 48:10
[10] Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

Daniel 3:24-25
[24] Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. [25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Numbers 4:13
[13] And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon: (Song of Songs 3:10-11)

Philippians 3:17-19
[17] Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. [18] (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: [19] Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

1 Corinthians 11:27-30
[27] Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. [28] But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. [29] For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. [30] For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

2 Timothy 4:6-7
[6] For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

"I have kept the faith:"
'kept' as in 'overseeing' the faith, as a father; to nurture, protect, defend; (Philippians 2:4-5) "Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:"

Bel and the Dragon: And the king said I see the footsteps of men, women, and children. And then the king was angry. And took the priests with their wives, and children, who shewed him the privy doors, where they came in, and consumed such things as were upon the table. Therefore the king slew them, and delivered bel into Daniel's power, who destroyed him and his temple. (God is my judge)

Revelation 2:9
[9] I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 3:9
[9] Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

1 Corinthians 10:21
[21] Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

John 2:15-16
[15] And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; [16] And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

Mark 13:2
[2] And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

John 2:19-21
[19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. [20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? [21] But he spake of the temple of his body.
Bel and the Dragon: "And in that same place there was a great dragon, which they of Babylon worshipped. And the king said unto Daniel, Wilt thou also say that this is of brass? lo, he, liveth, he eateth and drinketh; thou canst not say that he is no living god: therefore worship him.

Then said Daniel unto the king, I will worship the Lord my God: for he is the living God."
