The Law of righteousness. I’ve been meditating on the “righteousness” there. There is only One righteous and good that One being God. Romans 3:10-12 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: [11] There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. [12] They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

The “unprofitable” there is the flesh which cannot seek God and cannot hear God but remains in darkness still. We hear this in the “He who has ears to hear”. hear what? God in His unfailing mercy has shown a light out of the darkness to those who sit in darkness and the valley of the shadow of death. We well know Peter’s Revelation when Jesus asked Peter “who do you say I am?” and Peter’s response...”You are Christ. The Son of the Living God.”

Matthew 16:17
[17] And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Revealed by God which is in Heaven. Not revealed by flesh and blood. Why then do we attribute “righteousness” to making the righteousness that comes by Faith into “flesh and blood” Laws where man worked to prove man’s own righteousness which was by the Law and not by Faith? As Paul said, inspired by the Holy Spirit “that I may win Christ, [9] And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”

Look at the Ten Commandments and Christ’s sayings we are to keep...are they toward or after “flesh and blood” or Faith? What makes “Faith” added to us such a profound difference between as Paul warned to “be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, WHICH IS OF THE LAW, but that which is through FAITH of Christ, the righteousness which is OF GOD by faith”?

By definition what is God’s Righteousness, the righteousness of Christ through Faith? Doubtfully is God’s Righteousness the righteousness of or after “flesh and blood’ that comes by the Law where man has HIS OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS and NOT the righteousness of God.

The “righteousness” of the Law is man’s own “righteousness.” The “righteousness” of Christ through Faith is “the righteousness of God.” Two different “righteousness”there: to be found with our own righteousness which is by the Law or to be found in the righteousness of Christ which is by Faith(Spirit).

“Not mixed with Faith” is flesh with no Spirit, rebirth from above. As Peter’s Revelation of Christ given from God in Heaven...also the Holy Spirit is given of God. It is the “Faith” of NEW Life in the resurrection Spirit of Christ that is added which makes the Law of men working to obtain and be found having his OWN Righteousness far different from the Righteousness that is given OF GOD through His Spirit. It is the righteousness of God which is of “justified in the Spirit” and not the flesh. 1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Timothy 3:16
[16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, ...justified in the Spirit..., seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Romans 8:4-6
[4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

“That the Righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us...” not having our own righteousness that comes by the Law but the righteousness of God which by nature is not after the flesh but after the Spirit and the things of the Spirit. Read again please the above...”For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh” making the Righteousness of God by the Law which goes about to establish man’s own righteousness and is found to not have the righteousness which is by Faith in God. The righteousness of God by Faith establishes God’s righteousness and not man’s righteousness which comes by Law and not Faith in Christ. The righteousness of the Law was for man to work to obtain man’s righteousness but His word tells us no man was able to be made righteous or live by the the Law of Righteousness. Instead the Law was wrath working against the disobedience of man in proving only God is good and righteous...so every vain speaking mouth would be shut before God. His word tells us the Law of condemnation reveals the sin of man and His need for Faith in Christ. His word also tells us there is a difference between “righteousness” that comes by the Law of man’s works to be righteousness in himself and that “Righteous” OF GOD that is mixed with Faith and IS the Righteous obtained of God and not man.

Again Philippians 3:8-9 : Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, [9] And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Matthew 15:18-20
[18] But those things which proceed out of the mouth ...come forth from the heart...; and they defile the man. [19] For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: [20] These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Mark 7:21-23
[21] For from within, ...out of the heart of men..., proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, [22] Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: [23] All these evil things come from ...within..., and defile the man.

Romans 6:16-17
[16] Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death(the Law of righteousness which goes about to establish man’s own righteousness), or of obedience unto righteousness(Christ)?17] But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have ...obeyed from the heart... that form of doctrine(God’s doctrine NOT men’s doctrines) which was delivered you.

Ephesians 6:5-6
[5] Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters -according to the flesh-, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; [6] Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, ...doing the will of God from the heart...;

2 Peter 2:14-19
[14] Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: [15] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; [16] But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. [17] These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. [18] For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. [19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

“...who love the wages of unrighteousness” which is to say they love DEATH. Proverbs 8:32-36 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children(of the promise seed): for blessed are they that keep my ways. [33] Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. [34] Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. [35] For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. [36] But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: ALL THEY THAT HATE ME LOVE DEATH.
^Who do you think is speaking in the above if not “You are Christ. The Son of the Living God.” Him, whom we are to hear and follow after.

“While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.”

They promise you Christ, while they themselves are the servants of “flesh and blood” and not the Revelation given of God from in Heaven which is Faith in Christ.

Hopefully will post ten commands later. Take another look. What is the righteousness of God? If they, His sayings we are to keep are after ‘flesh and blood’ then whose your neighbour?
