In our previous post we mentioned that once the Church has been taken from the earth the Great Company class, that is those so enlightened, those in possession of a “double portion” of Elijah’s spirit (2 Kings 2:9, 10) will give a final testimony before they too (along with all the rest of their company who are freed from Babylon) are taken from the earth.
What is there testimony?
“Fear God, and give him glory; for the HOUR of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters…Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication…If any man worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand, he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment goes up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receives the mark of his name. (Rev 14:7-11)
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT as this will be the last opportunity for the Lord’s consecrated people, the great company class still trapped in Babylon to flee from the corrupt systems and from the errors taught by them, the last opportunity to be free of the “mark of the beast”, and likewise the last opportunity for any of the tare class, those more morally inclined and honest to be free of this “mark” and to escape before the plagues promised to befall Babylon come.
This testimony is the same one, which was given by the Church, however it is only now that the Great Company Class, that is those of this class who are awake, who can see (who perceive) that Elijah has been taken from them, who realize that the “marriage of the Lamb has come” that the Church is completed and gone beyond the Vail, and that they are all that is left of those who know the truth, and are able to proclaim it. This they shall do with renewed courage that is before they too being deemed a threat are silence by ecclesiasticism through the use of the strong arm of the civil powers (the Confederacy, the three unclean spirits spoken of in Rev 16:13). Just as Jezebel used Ahab to persecute Elijah, and Herodias had Herod behead John the Baptist, so too this will be deem necessary to preserve the present order of society and to silence the last remaining critics of the nominal church.
When this takes place the professing church, the church nominal i.e. Babylon the Great (as well as the one who works behind the scenes in and through it) will be exposed to all the world for what it truly is, a great fraud or deception upon mankind, “for by her sorceries all the nations were deceived, and in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” (Rev 18:23, 24) And as such she will be cast into the sea (the anarchist masses) to be utterly burned with fire; both the systems as well as those who abide in them will suffer this fate.
Remember the Lord warn that this would be the case, when he admonished all who had an ear to hear to “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues”, but alas many who heard this message chose to disregarded it, believing that somehow their particular branch or denomination was unique and separate from the rest of Babylon and not corrupt like the rest and thus not susceptible to this curse.
This will be the time when the “tares” are burned. Having long since been gathered and bound into their various “bundles” (sects, denominations and etc.) this day has been a long time coming. Understand that just as the burning of the nominal systems is symbolic (although most if not all church edifices, buildings and etc. will probably be burnt to the ground) so too the burning of the “tares”. The tares are not literally burn with fire; we cannot burn symbolic tares in literal fire. They are not to be burned literally destroyed as individuals, but rather as tares, as imitation wheat as nominally professing Christians they are to be burned or as put another way in Rev 19:21 they will be “killed with the sword” the Word of God, which cutting deeper than any literal blade will reveal that they were never a part of the true church despite all their professions.
