Waiting...
Looking back as a born-again believer and very new to Church culture, I can recall how excited I was to be a part of the body of Christ and sometimes reminisce on how God had given me good works (exploits) to do and used me powerfully in so many situations through the Holy Spirit.
There is nothing in the world quite like the joy one experiences when someone you are ministering to is granted revelation and understanding of his word found in the Gospels, which brings salvation, the message of the cross...
The “good works he has prepared for us to do beforehand” Eph 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. This is only part of his plan for our lives as he molds us, trains us and instructs us so that we can grow, mature, and bear much fruit.
I was discussing this with a friend recently who had been waiting for a door to open in ministry. There is a time for everything God has prepared for us, and sometimes waiting on something can be a little discouraging. So much so that some may feel tempted to jump ahead of God and try to make things happen, but God's timing is perfect, and sometimes we need to wait for things to come into line with his will. If you can imagine God going ahead of you, setting into place divine encounters and appointments in whatever he may be calling you to. Glory!
