What did the Apostle Paul see first when he received back his sight?

By Ben Abraham · Dec 13, 2020 · ·
What does "Ananias" mean?
  1. In Acts 9, when Paul went to Damascus to persecute Christians, or, the followers of "The Way" (as believers were first known as) Yeshua appeared to him as a bright light and blinded him. He was taken to the house of Ananias, and through Ananias, Paul received back his sight. What was the first thing he saw? He saw "Ananias" but he also saw the "Grace of God" How's that?

The name "Ananias" in Hebrew is "Chananyah". The word "Chanan, or Chanun" means "Grace" and "Yah" is a shorter spelling of the most sacred name of God "YHVH" so, Paul saw "The Grace of God"

It is absolutely the Grace and Mercy of God! Paul's Blindness was like a living allegory of what it means to be clothed by the Sinful Nature. For Christ to restore his sight, this is what takes place with the Sin Nature has been cut out and removed from a person's Stony Heart . . . a heart filled with the Mind of Satan.
