I didn't intend to address this today....but it seems it must be time....I'll address some of this more in few minutes. One thing we can begin to think about is number 1:

The wrath of God is more powerful than we can even begin to imagine . It would literally kill us physically if He exposed us to the fulness of His wrath...so when its time He exposes us to just little bit of it..we could not handle experiencing all of it.

And number 2: His wrath is NEVER directed at His children. NEVER.

Discipline IS directed at His children. And that is painful to us when He does discipline us. But know this...discipline is His love TRAINING US IN RUGHTEOUSNESS.

WRATH is about PUNISHMENT of His enemies.....BIG difference between the two..

one of the great dangers we will fight when He begins to expose His emotional life to our hearts, is reacting in ways that direct that rage toward a brother or sister. In that we will sin. Its why He counsels us to forgive each other. Non of us is fully free of flesh influences. When we react from flesh, we hurt each other. Forgive as you are forgiven...and He forgives the very instant we repent and ask for His forgiveness

1 John 1:9 NKJV — If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

It's always good to step back and find joy, spend time in God's presence and be strengthened. The joy of the Lord is your strength. None of us can walk this journey without His strength.

This is important to me right now because two people that are important to me are in conflict with each other over this very thing. :/. God will fix it :) ...somehow. :)

@lilygrace, there is no sin God is unwilling to forgive but one. Blasphemy of the Spirit. And you have not, and will not commit that one.

I'm not even convinced your "acting out" is even a sin in His eyes...and you are not interrupting. You are here by His leading, for His purposes and you have just as much right to post here as anyone does. Big hugs.

I might have blasphemed that could be why i am not close to God.

Maybe we need to talk about that soon. Blasphemy of the Spirit is a very specific sin very few really understand. It involves worship and there are specific rebellious steps someone who commits it has to take, willingly and consciously. You cannot commit blasphemy of the Spirit by accident...its not a sin you can accidentally "stumble into" anyone who has committed that sin KNOWS they have done so, and you have not even come close to it.

For the moment let me just drop this as a seed for you to consider. This passage talks about blasphemy of the Spjrit, and lists the steps necessary to commit it:

Hebrews 6:4-6 NKJV — For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

If you do not know what the "powers of the age to come" are, if you have not experienced that power, you cannot even commit blasphemy of the Spirit.

but if someone who HAS experienced revelation of that power.....falls away...there simply is no restoration, no forgiveness in this life or the next. Jesus is not going to be crucified a second tjme...once was enough.

And they will know they have rejected Him...utterly. they will have no more conscience, no conviction of sin in their hearts at all, ever again. They will be turned over to a reprobate spirit, because they CHOSE it...consciously....fully knowing the price.

anyone who wonders if perhaps they committed blasphemy of the Spirit...you can know they have not. Anyone who does commit it will not wonder, and they won't have a care in the world what God thinks of them at all

These are things TLHKAJ and Jostler already know, so I write for the benefit of others who don't know. The Lord loves Becka like no other and while she passed from the world some time ago, she is not dead by any means. The story of her suffering is similar to what our sisters @TLHKAJ and @truthquest have endured. Our sisters are also mothers so they will understand what it means to have your child taken away by the cult.

Especially when that particular front of the cult was a Christian "care home" for delinquent girls sanctioned by the state. What was Becka's crime? She was raped and impregnated and because she was both young and unmarried, the state remanded her to the custody of the cult to do with her as they saw fit. She and other girls imprisoned there suffered unspeakable things by their hand.

Becka was rejected and abandoned by her family of believers... even her own children reviled her. Therefore she lived on her own in the wilderness far removed from other people. She sought to live off the land, growing her own food and keeping livestock. But evil found her even there, so she found herself raped once again (this happened many times during her life). Her rapist was an associate of a notorious criminal gang infamous for brutality and extreme violence. This gang intended to kill Becka and take her land for their own. But they would terrify and brutalize her before committing the deed...

The Lord sent me to Becka during the darkest of times. I stood between her and that gang, pledging my life so she might live. However, our relationship was not one-sided. When I became ill and started wasting away Becka pledged her life to serve mine, looking after my needs and claiming me as her own. It was the darkest of times but also the most wonderful of times, the greatest work of God I have witnessed on earth.

I became the son Becka was denied, and she became the mother I was denied. The Lord's goodness transcends these words I write. I cannot help but weep while I write them because the Lord's work is beautiful beyond compare. His gift to Becka before she passed from this world is the most beautiful blessing... and He blessed me with the gift of witnessing it with these eyes.
I've often wondered how different my life might have been if I had been adopted by someone who would love and protect me. ,,,,You were blessed to have Becka who loved you like a son. And I have no doubt that she felt blessed by you.

I am amazed at what He did for Becka before she went home. He gave her the son's love she grieved over losing all her life before she passed. He didn't explain a lot to her, but He gave her that much. A son who loved her enough to die for her, and a defense against her persecutors she had also never had...from anyone. She knows a lot more now. But that was a powerfully healing gift He gave her here.
