The article is ok, but the articles reason for high diesel prices is a smokescreen. Years ago diesel price was lower than gasoline, something caused that to change and the answer is in the laws and policies of government, not the Ukraine war. Government policies have forced people to buy diesel from overseas, such as from Russia. We have no energy security due to government green policy plans.
In Australia we had cheaper Diesel always, then we got a better grade of Diesel and price went up a bit more, but then over the last few years they claim Asia was using much more and that made diesel cost much more in winter times.
But nowadays fuel prices is way out of control, Petrol went up 40cents a Litre today here.
For we have a price system for say 30 years in QLD that works on price slashing by company's we dealt wit like 4cents a L up and down market and then it mover to say 7cents a L and then to 10c a L and then 20c a L fluctuations just from the company's.
We had 91 octane and 95 Octane of 4c difference for years and now it's like 15c difference a Litre.
So today it's $2.17 a Litre for 91 unleaded RON that's much like USA 87 pump fuel being much the same.
The right wing government dropped the tax on our fuel by 20c a Litre but the Left have now got into power and have no regard for the people so they happy to put the 20c back on and the MSM as sweet with that and to hell with what the people think, because the people will just swallow anything that the MSM say with no regard at all, the MSM is always right ! Looks that way to me ! No one questions the MSM at all !
On even Car forums one will only get a Nazi response to questioning the fuel cost, nothing in depth or they will moderate cut out anything of any depth on subjects because the Socialist will go mad with threats.
I do not hear anyone bother complaining about the fuel cost anymore.
Most in Australia only see that winning against Russia is all or nothing and one is not allowed to have another opinion but for the MSM only. Nazi Germany anyone !
