Yes, for a short time. You can eat and drink lots, have lots of other pleasures,, buy lots of things that eventually own you, and even buy `friendship` for a time. You live in a lovely part of a great country, and yet you desire more and more. You carry a heavy burden of guilt, regret, anger, pain and suffering. All the make-up and bravo can`t hide that. Get real to yourself as that is the first step to healing.
Yeah, maybe. But I wouldn't have to worry about the bottom line anymore. Peace of mind is it's own reward.
The `bottom line.` Yes, there is so much to worry about and be anxious for in this world system.
And there is no Peace in this world. Can you tame your mind or your tongue?

Thanks for your honest reply. So my illustrations didn`t fit you. So how about forgiving others who hurt you some way. Can you do that? Is your heart (which affects your mind) free of guilt, unforgiveness, hurt, rejection, anger, bitterness etc?Sure. I can easily lust after another.

Everyone, but just everyone has the same burden in their hearts. It is just how they try to deal with that that is different. Some try to be very good, others, drugs, alcohol, riches, positions, material things, etc.
Do you know what you do to try and dull the effect of carrying all that load?
Distractions. Some people go to church. Some read the bible. I usually go for the alcohol. When I don't want to do that, I go for a night drive. It's particularly nice this time of year with all the Christmas lights and decorations.
It`s good that you realize this. Many don`t want to admit it. That`s good you go for a drive to see the Christmas lights etc. At other times do you like to look at nature? Have you any hobbies. I like to play music and also write on the forums.
Yeah, I love nature. There isn't enough of it where I live. I enjoy writing short stories from time to time. Simulation video games are fun. The kind that allow me to build things from scratch. And I play my electric guitar from time to time.
Great, you have productive things to do and quite creative.
I would love to hear you play guitar. Do you just play the chords or the melody as well?

You can have my piano, @Riven. We don't play it much. Sometimes I forget it's even there. I use it sometimes to tune the guitars.
