This is part two of a five part series on Reviving Biblical Christianity. In this episode we begin to fill in the chart that lays out the dual nature of the way in Christ. Jesus is both God and man and as such we are to be conformed to His image on both levels. We cover the stepwise procedure to fulness in Christ by a process of going through gates; both of righteousness, in what we are required to do, as well as what God is calling His people to become by going through the gate of the Lord into God's presence.

More Theological Baloney that tries to sound "spirituaL".
Its your ministry @Episkopos .

And your specific nonsense about "going through gates" as a requiriement of any Chrisitan is more of the bizarre religious concepts that you borrowed from some commentary or online site.

Now lets look at your odd screenshot, and we notice that it says "the way of righteousness" "what can we do".
And the only true answer to this is......"you can do NOTHING"......as what can a SINNER do, who has no righteousness. ???

A.) "All have sinned, there is NONE Righteous, no not one".... so, there goes your "self rightesouenss" theology.

So then How does a SINNER become "righteous", when God requires it for entrance into heaven?
= Very simple........the BELIEVER who has come to Jesus by Faith, receives "the GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS" from God, that is God's "imputed righteousness" that was first given to Abraham, and is now offered to "as many as will believe" in Jesus.

When discernment is absent people will rebuke a watchman to protect a wolf.

You should put yourself on "ignore", and take a long vacation away from your Library of "Heretics" material.
I suggest you burn it, and then take some time to find out where it all went so dark and theologically wrong for you, that you actually have told real Christians here that "The Cross is not about Forgiveness", or that "God does not give His Righteousness to anyone".

Do you see those 2 Lies you've told people here over and over ?

And then, when someone posts the verses for you, that show you that its God's "Gift of Righteousness" that Paul says is "imputed" to a BELIEVER then all you can do is run back to your pool of heretics supplies and try to find a work-a-round, yet, there is none found for you.
But you always come back and try to fool them again., as that is your ministry on this forum, and i suspect in real life its even worse. @Episkopos

I hope you are NOT suggesting that when one becomes born again that have 2 natures - one desiring to walk after the leading of the Holy Spirit and another desiring to live in sin.
As to your interpretation of what I said...an uncrucified person indeed has two natures...the one is divine in the spirit...but the other is part of the outer man sin nature that God wants to crucify. A saint walks in ONE nature because the flesh has been crucified. God will not turn a blind eye to those who claim to be His and yet walk in sin.

Many shallow or false believers think God can't see their carnal behaviour...thinking that the religious majority are in safety...being wilful in their blindness to all the warnings given to God's people. Religious sins of pride and smugness are actually WORSE in God's eyes than carnal sins since it drags holiness through the mud. Such are the rejected ones who are filthy in God's eyes.

The way is narrow....no exemptions.

What I was speaking about in the video concerning a dual nature was about the 2 levels of righteousness...the nature of righteousness on both the holy plane in what is miraculous by grace... AND...what is possible for us to do through obedience. Those who claim to be Christ's must follow Jesus as He is...both as divine AND as a man. Most modern believers don't follow Jesus on either level, instead amalgamating whatever is convenient by acting as if God judged people by their beliefs rather than their behaviour.

Unless one understands what Paul is talking about, verse balloons will be floated up to obscure the truth so that one can't see the difference between what men can do, or MUST do, and what only God can do.

The law was about presenting oneself before God in holiness. The holiness laws were about temple holiness...being set apart and such. Circumcision, sabbath keeping, certain rites and sacrifices....

What Paul ceased to do was pursue God through the law. He no longer was following Judaism for justification. He was following Christ. It doesn't say he became dishonest or proud, or lacked the fear of God. He still obeyed God on the righteousness level. He still believed in learning and growing in righteousness as a human (in the lower walk). One must keep the higher walk issues separate from the lower walk issues. What modern evangelicalism has done is to obscure the truth to the extent that people are now fully blind to the truth...because they have reduced the holy walk to what an ideologically indoctrinated sinner can name and claim. There will be a heavy judgment by tampering with the gospel in this way...there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

People assume they understand Paul when they clearly don't. Paul makes no distinction when he speaks about law or righteousness. The ONLY way to understand Paul is to look for what he ISN'T saying because he says the opposite sounding thing elsewhere.

Those who think that Paul is against a human righteousness will not be able to explain Pauls' insistence on the Scriptures TEACHING righteousness..YES, the words of God instructing us in human behaviour.

But a indoctrinated person is only reading the bible in a self-interest and for self-justification. So then there are built-in traps to the puffed up and arrogant ones among the nations. The way is narrow.

No, a person who is uncrucified (not yet born again) has nothing divine in them at all since they have not God's Spirit which comes only when they are born again and become a new Creature in Christ Jesus.

A saint walks in ONE nature because the flesh has been crucified.

Yes the born again person has a new nature in them, but some of them refuse to put on the New Man and keep walking after the old man (walking after the flesh) and those doing such are reaping corruption and are sadly no longer in right standing with the Lord.

If they don't repent and starting abiding IN Christ walking after the leading of the Holy Spirit, enduring until the end of their lives walking after the Spirit abiding IN Christ then they will not be in attendance at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. (they not going to Heaven)

So far so good. At least you don't appear to be teaching that one can get born again and then revert back to walking after the flesh and still go to Heaven. That would be false doctrine

You are not thinking this far enough. Being born again is only a beginning....that makes us ready for the race of faith...that most will fail. We have just as much chance of entering the kingdom as the Israelites in the desert had in entering the Promised land.
No, a person who is uncrucified (not yet born again) has nothing divine in them at all since they have not God's Spirit which comes only when they are born again and become a new Creature in Christ Jesus.
You are confusing the beginning with the process and the end. A race is not won until the end.

Most people that receive a talent from the Lord...ie, a new birth in the Spirit... bury that talent thinking they have their ticket to heaven. They remain stuck in first gear all their lives because they justify themselves for what they didn't do.

OK, but they did at least get born again.

Will they still go to Heaven anyway even if they live in sin walking after the flesh and not after the Spirit? clueless-scratching.gif

Unless one understands what Paul is talking about,
It's pretty clear what Paul is saying here. He rejects the righteousness that is by the Law desiring only the righteousness that is of God by faith.

Whether or not your teaching agrees with Paul is fully a different matter. Concerning the righteousness that is by the Law, to which he testified that he was blameless, nonetheless he counts that as crap. Compare that to your words.

People assume they understand Paul when they clearly don't.
That's obvious.

Which "law" are you referring to?

The old testament law, or the Law of Christ new testament believers are under?

True. But to whom much is given, more is required. Receiving a talent from the Lord means there is an expectation of return on investment. God is fair...no favourites.

Going to heaven? Do you mean like Valhalla? For the Christian heaven is meant to be entered into right now. The next age is on a new earth.

In God's house there are both vessels of honour and vessels of dishonour. Those who remain carnal and refuse to bear lasting fruit either in holiness or righteousness will be cut off into outer darkness.

I don't think you are showing that it is clear. What law? What kind of righteousness?

Unless you see the difference between holiness laws and righteousness laws you will remain muddled in your interpretations. How many tablets of commandments do you read about?

In other words...Paul was not after the kind of righteousness that Abraham had...that people can produce of themselves subject to God's mercy. He was after the full stature of Christ. Don't confuse Paul's zeal of winning Christ with it's HIGH standard with the kind of minimum standard that people are after to justify themselves.

Do you find this confusing?

Philippians 3:4-6 KJV
4) Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

6) Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Do you really wonder what Law Paul is speaking of here?

"as touching the Law, a Pharisee". What Law would a Pharisee be concerned with? What Law would Paul have followed being a Pharisee?

What kind of righteousness? The righteousness that is in the Law. I'm surprised you don't see what is so clearly said here.

Much love!

Speaking of muddled interpretations, that's just silly.

Paul sought the righteousness that is by faith, which is what Abraham received from God. One and the same. Shall we review the relevant passages together?

You are not getting the transition between testaments. You can only see one testament (the old one) and are fully missing the kingdom of God.

Old Testament: Physical promised land....physical descendants...physical increase,...achieved by faith.

New Testament: Spiritual promised land...spiritual descendants....spiritual increase...achieved by the faith of Christ.

To say you are muddled in your thinking is a vast understatement.

We seek not a physical place, but a spiritual one. But you are stuck in between having neither.

With Abraham Paul is showing how justification works in both realms. Both in the physical world...for worldly needs...and in the spiritual kingdom realm for spiritual needs and eternal life.

Hint: Abraham and Jesus are not directly comparable. Abraham is just a man....Jesus is both God and man and offers a much better covenant. You need to be taught the gospel.
