This is made up. No where does it say that Eve purposely deceived Adam. Adam was WITH her. Eve unintentionally sinned in ignorance, because if it was deception that would have been a willful sin and she would have seen her own nakedness. It wasn't until Adam sinned, not unintentionally as if he had been deceived as you made up, but willfully sinned against God, Himself. Only after Adam's WILLFUL sin, did they both see they were naked and mankind's nature became sinful like Satan's deceptive first sin in Eden with Eve. This is why even the serpent was cursed.

Bible does not say it was only when Adam ate that their eyes were opened to their nakedness. They both ate and both had opened eyes. Eve’s eyes were opened when she ate, same with Adam.

Think, man! Did Eve know the difference between good and evil before she ate the fruit as you are implying? No! That is the point of the TREE! Eve knew that God commanded not to eat the forbidden fruit. She told the serpent what God’s commanded was, though she added to it.

One of the problems with this is the misinterpretation that in trusting Jesus we can pretend we are righteous. That is not reality. The truth is more like, knowing that Jesus will take away all DESIRE to sin because the Word says so, then start trusting Jesus to do it and He will. Once clean, THEN you can reckon yourself free of sin, because you are and it is not pretend. I actually felt the heaviness of sin leave my body. I don't know if that happens to everyone who is born again. Maybe, my particular sin just weighed a lot. I know I couldn't lift it out of me. I was trapped.

My husband and I have not had your experience (we still get tempted) but we both agree that not sinning is the way were supposed to walk as Christians and then go on to maturity and perfection. It's a lot easier when believing its possible. Blessings to you.
