    Well, also it can be said that Romans 7 is actually a personification of Israel... it's REALLY awesome to read it with that in mind because it takes you through the Creation (verse 9--the garden without the LAW) then Satan deceiving them "and I died" and then when he does into the rest of chapter 9 he talks about Israel's inability to keep the Law without the power of Jesus!     ... that anyone who lives by the sinful nature dies, but those who live by the Spirit live! :) How freeing when we realize that through Christ (and ONLY thru Christ) we can live a sinless life! And this sinless life does not EARN salvation, but it shows that we have it.
