About me specifically
I was well known as an excellent swimmer and bodybuilder and somewhat of a tough guy not to be messed with as was the case with my brother Bruce also

I am born again Christian/ with some gifts of the Spirit, which the world would call a mystic or a psychic.

I am an original thinker.

As a young man, from age seventeen until age twenty four I worked on the gold mines in South Africa and became a qualified Fitter and Turner on the Doornfontein Gold Mine in Carletonville, then I joined Eskom as a Maintenance Planning Officer.

Before my retirement I worked as an Industrial Engineer/Business Analyst, I held many different work titles, at the Electricity Supply Commission Eskom where I worked for nearly twenty two years, before having to retire early due to the onset of severe bipolar disorder.

I joined Eskom in 1965 and worked there until my retirement due to ill-health brought on by Bipolar Disorder which led to a 30 year struggle against this monster that almost consumed my life

I think I must have read a few thousand books on nearly any topic one could think of over the full duration of my now protected life. My early love was/is Science fiction of which I have read since I was a boy of seven or eight.

My reading and writings have always revolved around both fiction and fact, mostly factual such as the sciences etc.

Before my retirement I worked as an Industrial Engineer/Business Analyst, I held many different work titles, at the Electricity Supply Commission Eskom where I worked for nearly twenty two years, before having to retire early due to the onset of severe bipolar disorder.

I held the responsible and overall control of introducing computer aided maintenance and machine breakdowns, for all power station equipment, both small and extremely large, such as the huge boilers and turbines on these enormous power stations in the section of Eskom, under my influence at the time.

During my career at the South African Electricity Supply Commission, Eskom I occupied varied posts such as, Industrial/Engineer/ Business System Analyst/IT Manager/Project Planner/Maintenance Planning Officer/Senior Information Officer and Business Analyst.

I also was involved in introducing and lecturing on the computerized critical path method for turbine and power station boilers on huge up to 2000 megawatt power stations here in South Africa, where I live.

I worked at the following, Power Stations, Komati, Vaal and Hendrina, during the time when my four daughters were growing up, and I remember this time as a very happy period of our lives. I then moved to Rosherville as Senior Planning officer, Senior Technician, then to Vereeniging as Senior Computer Officer, and finally to Eskom Centre, from which I retired due to ill health brought on by severe Bipolar disorder.

At present I reside with my wife, in Sunninghill Johannesburg South Africa and at the time of compiling this document I am 76 years of age. These last 16 years have indeed been full of joy and happiness.
