My name is Andrew Bernhardt. I was saved at an early age in the 1960's, but I'm still learning and growing in Christ. Originally from South Jersey, I now live in Beatty, Nevada (just east of Death Valley). I'm married and an active member of Beatty Community Church.<br /><br />I have a website at http://dtjsoft.com containing lots of stuff I wrote over the years. Contents include articles and studies on apologetics, discipleship (following Jesus), and devotionals.<br /><br />I also have a discipleship blog on a subdomain of the site (http://fadingman.dtjsoft.com) in the guise of a travelogue through the gospels.<br /><br />I'm an electronics technician by trade. Hobbies include hiking, reading, listening to and playing classical and Christian music (piano/keyboard), and various computer stuff (programming, fixing, graphics, internet, etc.)

Personal Statement of Faith
(the condensed version) I believe in God (Father, Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit) who is perfect in all ways (all powerful, all-knowing, holy, righteous, good, etc). Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Apart from Christ man is hopelessly lost in sin and condemned to eternity separated from God in hell. Jesus Christ died to save all who come to Him from sin and its consequences. He rose 3 days later, intercedes for us now, and is coming back to reign on the earth. He will bring all who trust in Him to heaven to be with Him forever.
