I am on a journey discovering God as well as myself. I have gone from an independent person active living my life. To a disabled 57 year old woman that had to stop working and now receive disability benefits. Living my life using my faith to keep myself encouraged and to keep hope. My life is different and more challenging however, God allowed me to survive two strokes so He has a plan for my life.

Personal Statement of Faith
I am a devout Christian baptized back on July 3, 2001. I am currently recovering from a stroke that has left me wheelchair bound. I reside in Rutland Nursing Home and have received my calling to align my life with God's plan. I write Christian poetry to encourage my former church family. I pray every morning listen to church sermons as well as my audio NIV Bible. Before my first stroke I was planning to attend post-graduate school to earn a Doctorate degree in Psychology. I used to want to teach Psycholgy on college level. My faith is leading me to pursue and complete a Doctorate degree in Theology. I long to have deep discussions about Jesus and how to get even closer to him. I have been deeply studying God's word.
