Oh I agree but having victory here will not save us, or keep us saved. failing will not cause us to lose salvation. However. failing to even try will prove we are not saved.. but they are not saved because of unbelief. not because they could not stop their sin

Notice. it did not say they completely stopped their sins. it says God washed them. God saves, we do nto save ourselves by trying to stop sin and succeding.

Can someone who is LGBTQ be saved? Can a murderer be saved (king david, Moses) Can an adulterer be saved? (King David, Abraham) Let he who has no sin cast the first stone. I know of three former people who would have been classified as LGBTQ, who not only are saved. but wonderful men of God.
