THE GOSPELS ARE NOT NEW TESTAMENT

Yes! I always say that we need to know if Jesus was speaking to them; or to US. The Rich Young Ruler is a prime example of Jesus teaching them; not Us... Covenant Theology...

THE GOSPELS ARE NOT NEW TESTAMENT

Yes; I always say, "The Gospels can easily be the last four books of the Old Testament, just as they are easily the first books of the New Testament". They are Testimony of Jesus Keeping the Old Covenant; the only Man who has done so... Covenant Theology...

The Wrath of God - How is it love?

The Royal Law ~ by ReverendRV * November 8 James 2:8 KJV; If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing well. There was a time when Jesus commissioned several disciples and he was instructing them in the way of his...

The Wrath of God - How is it love?

Scripture Alone ~ by ReverendRV * September 17 Genesis 1:1 KJV; In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Through Faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. In the beginning was the...

The Wrath of God - How is it love?

Perhaps... For now, here's my Gospel Tract about it... Samson’s pillars ~ by ReverendRV * September 9 Judges 16:29 KJV; And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left...

The Wrath of God - How is it love?

It would. Someone on CARM Forums came up with it (Civic), so I started a Thread there about Dialectic Debate. I found that I kept on winning discussions there; it's kind of the way I Debate anyway. I call my method of Debate using "Shared Beliefs" to build upon and make my larger Point... But...

The Wrath of God - How is it love?

I find that though you and I differ, we debate our differences. Don't feed the trolls... A Dialectic Debate is a form of argumentative dialogue where individuals, holding different perspectives, engage in a reasoned discussion to arrive at the truth or a deeper understanding of a subject...

I have my doubts that Catholicism is Christianity

Roman Catholics get so much right; like Monotheistic Trinitarianism and the Hypostatic Union. A little Leaven, leavens the whole Loaf. They get several things wrong, such as the examples given so far; but they spin it. They will say they revere Icons and don't Worship Idols, etc. But the real...

    Divine Sylogism...

I see your reference now. We agree; this is not speaking of the Church but about All people before they're Saved... This is True Universalism...

    THE ELECT

It does. We agree more than it appears; we have a Freed Will; a Will that God Worked in Us to free... I'll speak up later...

    Divine Sylogism...

My #9 Post is about Deductive and Inductive Reasoning. But that's okay; when you want to talk about the OP, I'll be ready... I appreciate you participating, no one else seems interested...
  13. Hey You!

    THE ELECT

That is a little disappointing; it's not bad though... Why do you think this, when Romans 9 says God Chooses despite our Willing or our Running? It's easy to show Christians the irony of God Electing people for Service, apart from their Born Again Will; but then they go on to say the Fallen...
  14. Hey You!

    THE ELECT

Amen @Doug ! I assumed you were against Individual, Unconditional Election; that's why I mentioned Provisionism's interpretation of Romans 9 as God’s Individual, Unconditional Election to Service... It matters not on Who (an Individual) Wills or Runs, but it Matters with whomever God has Mercy...
  15. Hey You!

    THE ELECT

That's agreeable @Doug , but the Saints are also Elected to Salvation Unconditionally. If we say Romans 9 teaches the Church is Chosen for Service not by our Will nor by our Running; why in the world would we go on to say we're Elected to Salvation through our Free Willing or our Running?
