God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, reading about God, writing about God, talking about God, learning about God, reading about Jesus, writing about Jesus, talking about Jesus, learning about Jesus, reading about the Holy Spirit, writing about the Holy Spirit, talking about the Holy Spirit, learning about the Holy Spirit. That may seem like a joke, but I not long ago met a wonderful woman who had troubles getting to know me because "all I ever talked about was God". She finally gave up, lol.

Personal Statement of Faith
"And Jesus said to him, 'If thou art able to believe! all things are possible to the one that is believing;' " Mark 19:23

I believe that Holy Scripture, as given to us by God himself and via divine inspiration and revelation through His prophets and apostles, is the literal word of God.

I believe that Jesus the Christ was born of the virgin Mary, that He was crucified on the cross for the sins of all men, that He died, and was resurrected three days later to be seen many times by many witnesses before ascending into heaven to the right hand of God.
I believe that the only saving faith is faith in our Lord Jesus the Christ, and that that true faith is enough.

I also believe that all glory belongs to God because our God is love, and love is worthy of all glory. I believe that we were created to love, and be loved by our Creator. And I believe that our God is greater, more merciful, and more loving than we can ever possibly imagine. His grace never fails. His mercy never fails. His love never fails. He is the Alpha and Omega. The Beginning and the End. The same today as yesterday and tomorrow.

Finally, I believe that faith can and should only ever be measured from within one's self, never against the faith of others, nor should we in turn mock the faith of others. Any faith. But most especially the faith of a brother or sister in Christ. Christ called us to love, not to hate, not to argue. Not even to persuade or convince. We are called to share the Good News that Jesus the Christ is the propitiation for the sins of all men, especially those for those who believe. It is then up to the individual to make their choice.

I will leave doctrine in the hands of religion. I choose to follow the example of my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, and follow where my Father leads me. That, for me, is enough.
