I think you have to adapt when you have to face something head on .....everyone will face this side of it eventually - many are going back to work here, and they are only beginning to face that inner concern - so they too will need to adapt x

For the believer, prayer is indeed the sphere in which s/he moves, day by day.

Must be painful if they press too hard on the nose; some of the young women from church, that my wife and I have known, would have to remove their nose jewelry unless they were prepared for it to be painful; but the testing all in a necessary cause, I guess...

It's amazing how one can go back to a Bible passage and see something fresh, yes. I just commented on the Nehemiah thread, too...

Hi @Rita; hope all is well. I see some ppl from the US are now having trouble with everyone being vaccinated. For me, the sooner I can have a vaccination the better, with this awful thing that attacks the lungs. For those in the US there must be some political thing in their minds which - I at least - just don't grasp. (I mean, ppl have gotten vaccinated for years against, smallpox, mumps, measles, etc.)

Id like to research and make a decision for my daughter myself. Especially since she isnt in the risk group, Id personally like to see the results first. Because if this vaccine is 3 months old...Id rather hubby and I have it first awhile after baby is born. My daughter has had all of hers. But those have been around a long time...

@Rita You are right about the pervasively America-centric way of looking at things in the US media. A bit like in the days of the British Empire, when to so many ppl anything that went on anywhere outside the British Empire was utterly irrelevant.

When mind-bending self-absorption leads ppl to deny the reality of killer viruses because it's somehow inconvenient to self-absorption, then it becomes really dangerous; just as it was really dangerous for the British political class in the 1930s to ignore the Dictators, even when their threat was patently obvious.

Yes, I must admit that I have a deep level of concern for the USA, I knew they were insular, but the forum posts are really relaying something I don’t feel good about.

Hi Farouk, I have only just seen your message about my ex husband passing away. Yes we had a few very difficult months and all four of my children were struggling, not quite sure where there grief is right now because of this virus- it’s been a kind of distraction. My ex handled his illness so well, and put everything right with all of us - the cancer spread very fast. It was a sad Christmas xx

It's good to remember at times of tribulation that in Hebrews 7.25 the Lord Jesus 'ever liveth to make intercession' for His pilgrim people.
