The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

About 97% of Christians are NOT Calvinists and so don't need TULIP to guide us. We have the Holy Spirit. God gave us a rational mind too; to learn, know, love, seek truth and discern between good and evil. If we were totally depraved, we could not do any of that. Spiritually we are all born...

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

I agree and I can do that while rejecting o TULIP. Predestination/ Election is sound - I just don't claim to know how God does this. He is sovereign, has a perfect plan and within that plan we are responsible. We are given knowledge of Good and Evil and we chose between them, we respond - but...

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

I just gave you examples of scholars, who based on your prerequisite and conclusion that stated: " I would say that christians who reject Tulip have not studied Scripture well." Dr. Billy Graham didn't study scripture well? That is absurd and so us your claim! I am not an Armenian, I'm a...

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

Really? Billy Graham, Norman Geisler, John Wesley, C.S. Lewis and other Notable PhD scholars who reject TULIP include: • Dr. Leighton Flowers: Director of Evangelism and Apologetics for Texas Baptists. He holds a PhD and operates Soteriology 101, a platform dedicated to refuting TULIP and...

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

Though I respect J MacArthur and RC, I was saved and nourished in spirit filled churches. For instance, J.M. does not believe in the gifts of the Spirit, says they ceased b in the 1st Century. He's wrong. That's just one teaching. He never taught TULIP nor ever admitted fir most of his ministry...

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

Oh, so Christians who don't accept TULIP just didn't dig deep enough... and therfore don't understand election or how grace works? I have studied under RC Sproul and John MacArthur, both Calvinists. Are you more educated than them? Spare me ... and no thanks. Those guys are usually my go to...

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

I think TULIP is flawed. It is high minded, presumptuous, cold and simplistic ( as to reduce the sovereignty of God into a cute flowery acronym). Actually to be able to summarize something of this magnitude, one would have to be omniscient. God's Word is sufficient and then of course we have...

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

Yes, okay Calvin did not himself create that acronym, the Reformed Church created after hus death, formalizing it and attributing it to his theology.

The Bible is the Word of God, Calvin's TULIP is not. It is commentary, a flawed perspective. You can value what he constructed, I don't need it. The Bible is sufficient and the Holy Spirit teaches us. Something just came to me. TULIP to some Christians is similar to the Midrash to Jews.

I understand that they are tied together. John MacArthur said, "Jesus's sacrifice is the "propitiation"—the satisfaction that turns away the wrath of God—which is the very mechanism that makes the "atonement" (our reconciliation) possible". I just am not an adherent of TULIP. I think Calvin's...

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

How silly was the pain caused by someone else's sin against you. You experienced it, it hurt and may times you carries that pain with you for a long time. Did you forgive them immediately? Maybe you held a grudge. Were you laughing because it was silly? Eventually you forgave the sin, right...

I present to you the demonic party of America

Obama demonic? He's not possessed but influenced to go in a different direction. He is not a Christian. He seems to favor Islam more. The Left has chosen to support Islam, (the Palestinians, Hamas, Iran) and has also grown in antisemitism. Bless Israel and you will be blessed. Curse Israel and...

Why does mainstream Christianity believe that it's "unorthodox" to teach that Jesus will unite ALL things to himself?

Context is key. Read the first 9 verses leading up to verse 10. The message is to Christians (the chosen/ elect/in Christ). He will gather "all things IN CHRIST". That does not include sin/ evil or reprobates outside of Christ. Good and evil will soon be separated- that is the plan - 1000 years...

No. However their sins that splattered on us were.

The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

I DID NOT say sins of the non-elect were cleansed off them. I said those sins against us were cleansed off us. Or do you still hold grudges for all who have sinned against you? No, we forgive. Forgiveness is just as much beneficial for our own peace as it is for others. So when we let those...
