"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Your faith must endure until the end of your life In the NT, the Greek indicates that “believe” is a present tense imperative verb! Yes, a continuing belief-faith is necessary for continuing salvation-eternal life! … Note the famous John 3:16 … “… whoever believes [present tense: continues to...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Of course! Now, let's agree there are both types sitting in the pews. But, the dire warnings are for both types; one type needs them now, the other type may need them later. The unbeliever goes to hell for habitually sinning w/o repentance! Can the disobedient BAC get away with habitually...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

I wish you knew what the NT says instead of holding onto your false doctrines. There are many dire warnings in the epistles which were written to believers. And there are many dire warnings in the Gospels which Jesus said to everyone. Apparently, you don't see any of them! I wish you weren't...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

There are about 10 NT verses which warn that ... we must ENDURE in the faith, etc. (until the end of life) to be given eternal life. This even ties in with da foist tree soils, which caused their corresponding seeds to fall away and end up dying. Da last soil produced good fruit.

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Dis is just another one of my favorite passages ... Galatians 5:1-4 (NKJV) “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us (BACs) free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage … You (BACs) have become estranged from Christ … you (BACs) have fallen from grace.”...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Yes, you describe the initial condition of the saved. But, this condition can be altered through e.g. habitual unrepentant sin. Paul in Romans 6:16-19 gives a CHOICE to BACs: Be a slave of sin >>> unto eternal death Or ... Be a slave of obedience >>> unto righteousness And ... Be a slave of...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

And there are other conditional verses in the NT. Conditional examples having 5-10 NT verses/passages supporting them: ● Loving Jesus leads to obedience maintains our salvation ● Choosing obedience over sin maintains our righteousness ● Practicing righteousness maintains our righteousness ●...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Oh, this is all so very wonderful ... except that ... you conveniently ignore/reject the many dire warnings in the NT, which are directed at EVERYONE who is, for example, a habitual unrepentant sinner. Perhaps this "problem" is solved by understanding that ... "believes" in such verses as John...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

There are different sanctifications, but sorry I only remember the first 2 (out of 4 or 5): (1) positional (set apart), and (2) progressive (a process).

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Dat's da exact problem with almost every woman on Christian forums dat I have ever encountered ... dey make it personal, it's about dem! Ridiculous! I'm NOT here to present spiritual Truth to YOU; I'm here for BACs in general. Your experiences do NOT make the rules for all BACs. What is the NT...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

1 John 3:10 "In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother." Translation ... Children of God (choose to) practice righteousness and love other believers! Children of Satan do...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

The above is another statement from the very pits of hell. Our salvation is a co-operative effort between God and us! News Flash: God created us with a free will ... to choose to follow Jesus or not, to choose cursings or blessings, etc. Jesus does NOT force us to love Him, to be His friend...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Here's a simple explanation of who our fair and just God is: Can a BAC get away with being a habitual sinner (and dies w/o repentance) ... and go to heaven WHILE a non-believer CANNOT get away with being a habitual sinner (and dies w/o repentance) ... and goes to hell?

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

This is a horrendously terrible statement ... it is false doctrine of the highest magnitude! 1 John 1:9 was written to believers in the churches. Many BACs use 1 John 1:9 as a proper and true encouragement to believers who need to understand that ... Jesus will cleanse away a particular sin...
