God just used me today to cast a demon out.

Hello forum!
I have to share this because it relates to the thread I created about demons.

I was at a friends house where her and her daughter live.
We were visiting and sharing testimony of what God has done in our lives....unaware I said something and Sissy (fictional for privacy) sat there and was meditating on it and suddenly out of nowhere jumped up screaming and grabbed a knife and began violently running the blade across her arms...she was fixing to go to her neck and I said STOP! You foul spirit! Come out of her now and cease your torment on her in the authority and power of the name of Jesus! The Lord Rebuke you!....(she ran into the bathroom screaming and cursing) and I stood outside the door and continued saying I believe in the power of the Blood of Jesus, I plead the Blood of Jesus over her now, the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus to cover you, Sissy, from the top of your head to the soles of your feet....
Loose your hold on her now you unclean spirit! I call out to you Father, be merciful and deliver your child!
(I broke out praying in tongues for a minute) then I could hear her crying...
I said I ask you to comfort her now Holy Spirit....fill her with your joy and peace....and I ask in Jesus Name...thank you Father....all glory and praise belongs to you...and I said God is going to use you as a witness Sissy...rise up and walk in the freedom He has given you.

Then I told her, I love you, and your heavenly Father loves you.

I sat down...she came out of the bathroom smiling and her countenance completely changed....and her skin on her face was glowing and there wasn't a single blemish on it..(she had acne before)....her eyes were as bright as daylight....
When she opened her mouth to speak she said thank you....it's gone...that demon is gone...
I said oh sissy praise God and give Him the thanks....
And her voice was gentle, kind and you could hear the Spirit of God in her voice.

(She has a past history of cutting herself and suicide attempts....there a numerous deep scars on her arms from cutting herself...)

I was completely in awe of the transformation in her...

Praise God!

I need to add...the knife never broke through her skin.....it did leave deep impressions of a knife blade but no bleeding.

Sounds scary, I know someone that is mentally ill (won't say who) that went after someone with a knife. They had to go to the mental hospital, it's wonderful that you were able to cast out that demon.

Praise God indeed!

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power
.

(Psst.. Dont let it go to your head! :D )

Peace be with you!

Christ is risen!
Alleluia!
No chance of it going to my head....I am still meditating over it and saying to myself....did that really happen? Did I really see a transformation?
But I just have to tell the enemy to get out of my head because I witnessed it, her mom witnessed it and even began to cry being overfilled with joy of seeing her daughter free of that demon after all these years....
Thank you again Father! Thank you! Praise you! I love you!

I paused and watched in horror for a moment....the RN in me wanted to call 911, but the Word of God in me took control and went into battle mode.:)

I should have said, the person I spoke about is on meds now and stable and is incident free for some years now. The knife attack was many many years ago. They are a pleasant person now. I have no experience with self harm but yeah that would have terrified me for their safety.

I think I need to share a little further....
I have bound demons in the past....I have commanded them to leave my house...but this is the first time ever to be His vessel to cast a demon out of a person....it gives you a sense of euphoria....I had goose bumps all over my body...I know it had to have been the presence of the Power of God at that moment.

That is wonderful that your first instinct was to cast out a demon and saw it through. That is being led by the Holy Spirit. Heart, you KNOW WHO you are in Christ.

What did her mother do during this time?
Thank you
I don't know for sure...she was sitting in her recliner....afterwards she cried alot

If I may ask, would he or she get angry and go into a rage like she did or was it done quietly?
I don't think Sissy had a legion of demons, but then again I didn't ask its name....but the demon she had is similar to the one in scripture that called himself legion...

¹ Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.
² And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
³ who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains,
⁴ because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him.
And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
⁶ When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him.
⁷ And he cried out with a loud voice and said, "What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me."
⁸ For He said to him, "Come out of the man, unclean spirit!"

Notice this person did "self harm"....which in reality it was a demon driving him to do it.

That is why the Word rose up in me and took control....911 wouldn't be able to help her she needed deliverance.

Sorry for all the typos

This stuff used to really scare me. Maybe it might sometimes still, but mainly I just rejoice along with you Heart2Soul, and glad you were there to help her. Go God!!!!

I used to self injure for years. That passage of scripture was shared to me in Teen Challenge. It really is a horrible spirit. I would say once delivered though, the flesh is something a former cutter has to die to by garments of praise and coping skills for tough/stressful times. But yeh. So glad a woman of God was there to put the enemy in its place. Believers have to learn how to do that, but it is helpful to have people helping you get to that point.

Sure been a trip through memory lane lately for me. LOL. But in a good way. God is just so very good.

I know this is easy for me to say but if you could see how puny and pitiful demons are you wouldn't be afraid...
Hollywood has caused people to fear them and Jesus said rebuke them...
They are so dependent on a human that they begged Jesus to cast them into swine...at least it would be a physical body...
They can't manifest their assigned task without a host to dwell in...
I personally believe many mental illnesses are tormenting spirits of the mind

No Dan doesn’t get into a rage when he self harms, for him it’s a release of emotions ( difficult to explain )
However he does suffer mentally, so if his life was turned around like that ( which I honestly believe it will be one day ) I know how I would feel xxxx
Dan is in his own internal prison, and Jesus came to set the captives free - he asked for his own bible the other day, not sure he would be able to read the word if his problems were rooted in the same thing. I pray and take one step at a time, so my response was linked to how the mum would have felt xx
