WE INTERRUPT THIS THREAD TO BRING YOU A VERY SPECIAL EPISODE OF APRIL_ROSE THE SCEINCE GIRL!!!!

...........................................................................................................................................................................................

Hello everyone, I'm April_Rose the science girl,.. or rather that's my day job name. At night,.. I'm a detective of the CDSA which stands for a Christian Detective of Science Agency. My job is proving how science and Christianity exist and how that science is really just the blueprints of God's wonderful creation. Anyways, it was a rainy day on the fifth of May 2021. I was just busy sitting at my desk and studying the science of our solar system when all of a sudden I got a call. (And yes we still have a cord phone in our office. XD)

"Hello April_Rose Christian detective here." I answered and that's when suddenly I heard the voice of a frantic lady,.. the voice of panic.

"Hello Detective, I got a problem!!!" She cried out and that's when I started attempting to calm her down.

"Whoa, relax Madam, just tell me what the issue is." I told her.

"I was taking a bath and the water wasn't blue and now I think,.. I'm colorblind!!!" She hollered.

"Whoa, stay with me on this,.. what's your name Madam?" I inquired.

"Lisa." She responded.

"Okay Lisa, so you say the water wasn't blue when you were taking a bath. Could you tell me what color it was instead?" I questioned her.

"Yes Detective, it didn't have any color at all. It was clear." She replied with a gulp.

"Relax Lisa, I've solved many crimes of science before and I don't think that this one will be any different. You say that the water was clear while you were taking a bath?" I asked her.

"Yes Detective, that's it." She told me.

"Well then I think I solved the case. You see water is actually clear. It just appears to be blue sometimes like when you go to the beach on a nice sunny day. The water becomes blue when the light from the sun as it refracts light from the sky." I explained.

"Really!? So I'm not colorblind after all!! Thank you so much Detective!!!" She exclaimed excitedly.

"My pleasure Madam, just doing my job and of course God designed it that way I just do His job by explaining it." I told her before I hung up.

If you need my help please call 1-800-science

We now return to our regularly scheduled thread. :p Please don't call the number because it doesn't actually exist. XD

I'm angry that I never have romantically love dreams ever - and then I finally do. It used to be nice to fall in love in a dream and have your romantic escapism moment. I haven't gotten to do that in years.

Not always what it's cracked up to be. The Lord can reveal to you through a dream that romance is there, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything will come of it in real life, sad to say. But you still hope, even if only for friendship's sake.

But ask Jesus to "romance" you in His own way. Some might say that's blasphemy, but I've had them. I had a dream - this was the same dream that told me someone loved me romantically as a matter of fact - which traced my entire history of involvement on the forums going all the way back to 2017. Amadeus and Helen were both in it when it got to the part about joining here in 2018. But by the end, I saw the Lord Himself walking down a road with trees in autumn on either side, and I asked if I could come. He told me "Grab your things" and signaled for me to follow. I was standing with three Hispanic kids who were taking off in a car, and cars represent ministry. At the time of this dream I was training three Hispanic teenage boys how to play guitar and sing worship songs. All were sons of church women, some of whom were themselves involved in worship ministry, so they were indeed headed for ministry in some fashion, whether they liked it or not, LoL. But in the dream, I scrambled quickly to pick up my guitars because He was walking QUICKLY, and I was afraid He might lose me fast if I didn't get it together.

Since that dream I have been on a wild and eventful journey. If I knew then what was coming, I might have slowed up on my enthusiasm just a bit, LoL. But yes, I have had dreams where kind-hearted, genuine romance was involved, whether it was wrong or right for it to be so. But the dreams where Jesus invites you to follow Him are the ones you want. It means He is leading you somewhere, and you will experience things you will never forget if you can manage to keep up with the True and Living God. ;)

Science Girl (aka April_Rose)

SURE THING...Science does have its place in Scripture.

Science is Discovery.
Science is Figuring out a USE for the Discovery.

Simply put...God set a "Standard"...
USE is for ALL.
USE for GOOD.

The Hebrews, were first given...
Knowledge & Understanding...
EX 31:
3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship...

The Jews, have excelled in Sciences & Understanding (to this day)..."notable prize accolades".

In history - Hebrew Children were summoned to TEACH, in gentile kings courts.
Dan 1
[4] Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

I don't know if it was a dream from God. I don't think it can be because... It was suggestive. Anyway..

If you wanna read suggestive, try reading Jeremiah 3:6-10 sometime, LoL.

The Lord is not the least bit afraid to discuss the realities of intimacy in any form, Fluffy. It's just a matter of knowing what He's saying from what He isn't, and separating our fleshly desires from truly spiritual ones.
Spanish worship with kids sounds cool.

With the talented ones, it's a true pleasure and almost an honor. With those who couldn't play their way out of a paper bag, maybe not quite so much, LoL.

There's a song on one of my old children's cassette tapes that goes like that but I can't find it on YouTube. Maybe you might have heard it before but it goes;

Honesty is the best policy, be honest in all you do.
Tell the truth and treat people fairly,.. and they'll do the same for you!

Or something like that anyways. :)
It's a 400 year old saying.

John Piper said that when a husband and wife come together that the Lord is there with them. So I know that might have something to do with it, but it still freaks me out.

Well, make sure it is one He gives you, that's all I can say. Many choose someone He never actually led them to, just someone they thought was right. And if it's a really BAD combination the Lord can't bless it, no matter how much He might like to. Don't make me tell you horror stories, Lol.

Yes, I have put it in God's hands. I know I'll be taken care of either way! His perfect will will be perfect.

Just have to trust him and let him do whatever it is he is doing. In the meantime, he is leading me on other things and getting ready for whatever.

I'm tired of posts with an underlying assumption that Catholics don't have Faith in Christ as their saviour..

Telling a faithful Catholic that they need to have Faith in Christ

I know what you mean! Being raised a Catholic, I am surprised at how many Protestants do not realize that not only are Catholics Christians, they are the first Christian church.

There are so many lies told about Catholic Christians that they sound good, but the truth is just to boring.

While I would not call myself a "Protestant", there is no question that there were good and sound reasons for the Reformation. So Catholics must always take that into account. It is a historical fact. There were good and sound reasons for the Five Solas of the Reformers.

See this from 1933:
"Meanwhile, in the Laurels' side of the house, Stan is seen wrapped in a dressing gown on the sofa, sipping wine and eating chocolates, being pampered by Betty, who relays the age-old moral to him, "Honesty is the best policy." Stan agrees happily, as the sounds of hurled pieces of crockery start coming from the Hardys' side. Lottie is throwing pots, pans and dishes at Ollie."

  • Produced by: Hal Roach
  • Release date: December 29, 1933 (US)
Laurel & Hardy: Sons of the Desert on XOTV

Start at 1:02:00 to hear the quote in the movie.

Why is it when the follies of the Catholic church are exposed, they are deemed to be "lies"? There is not benefit in lying about the RCC. So was Father Chiniquy lying when he told the truth about the RCC?

Ok, I am letting off some steam on that one:
Here we go again....can we just leave it alone?
So tiring to see this over and over again.[
