What happen to the believer in mind before they were born again in spirit. They got use to being abused by the seed that was in them, the corruptible seed. The mind programmer. What does it program? Your bad, your a sinner, look at what you do. All lies, your not bad, you were created in the image and likeness of God and then you were taken over by another. You are not worthless and all the things the run threw our minds. It was the other that was bad, the sinner from the beginning scripture calls it, not you. You are simply a partaker in life (nature).
14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. - Genesis 3:14-15.
The Satan seed, or however you want interpret verse 15 as 'thy seed' I have to interpret that as the seed of Satan because that seed has caused nothing but hell on earth since it's inception. How the seed came to be Satan seed can be discussed and debated but the cause and effect of the seed and it's origin came by the serpent that tricked the minds of the very first human beings. We can spiritualize it, analyze it, trivialize it, allegoricalize it, but the bottom line it is here and it reaps havoc on mankind.
This is in no way to broadcast a clear determination on what happened in the beginning of time as we know it. It is a friendly reminder in they're fallen state mankind has always had a mind problem. Even in the new birth in spirit, the mind is at issue and must have newness added to it to become what our father would intend for all who believe. That fallen depraved sin Satan death nature seed has plagued mankind from the beginning until now. It programed the mind of man and has to be renewed.
Believers that live by the knowledge of good and evil continually have the hardest time amongst all believers because it is like they have never been born again, at least in mind they don't act like it. They must live from ego most of the time trying to overcome their own selves that has been abused and treated like it was them that was the sinner from the beginning. That is what we have determined to be abuse. Still trying to overcome, what is the old saying "the struggle is real." The struggle will be real until we take that last breathe but it does not have to be devastation to wits end as was the case in a unregenerate position with that corruptible seed. Now it is just a mind issue, I say just a mind issue! that is a big issue but it is not unsurmountable it can be overcome.
Why would Jesus say "be of good cheer for I have overcome the world." The day would come and now is; that humanity would have an opportunity to have a new life and a new understanding 'a new mind to go with the new life.' old things gone as if they never existed. Saints it's more than a pipe dream it is the reality of being a Christian. Heed the scriptures for in them you have everything that is necessary for life. Whatever you can think of is in the new life, and more. Things we don't even know exsists are in the new life, trust the life that is in you, the seed of God. It is not an abuser as was the old, it is the mind now that will attempt to bring on the old way, not Christ. You have a brand new life in Him. Bless you.
