Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV)
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

Only believers prophesy in Jesus' Name, cast out demons in Jesus' Name and do wonders in Jesus' Name. These were believers!
What is your point?

Why, do you believe there are true “believers” who will burn in hell? Or are you referring to nominal “believers”?

You objected “BB stated that if he died while being an unbeliever he would have went to Heaven.”

Now you speak of “Believers who will burn in hell”.

What’s going on? :(

Exactly! There are genuine Christians and there are "nominal" Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers.

"Christian" doesn't mean believer in Jesus?

Are you still wondering what "Christian" means?

You said you don't fear God.

Well aware of what I said....and WHY.

How are you qualified to tell us what "Christian" means?

How? Knowledge and Understanding.

Psalm 111:10 (NKJV)
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;

Correct.
The "BEGINNING" of wisdom "IS FEAR" of the LORD.

Unlike you, I surpassed the "BEGINNING" years ago.

These were "nominal" Christians/make believers. Jesus never knew them which means they were never saved. These many people were obviously trusting in their works for salvation and not in Christ alone.

Matthew 7:21 - Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

what do you say qualifies and/or make a person to be said to be practicing righteousness?
Matthew 5,6,7 for starters.
Ephesians 4:17-32
Ephesians 5:1-33
Ephesians 6:1-9
Romans 12:9-21
Romans 13:1-14

There are more. These are the long, long passages of scripture that the church doesn't talk about, deferring instead to labor over single verses like Romans 11:29. Thinking, somehow, that prepares them for the return of Christ.

Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but not do what I say? Luke 6:46

John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.
When Jesus said only those who do the will of His Father will enter into the kingdom of heaven he meant a lot more than just believing in him.

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Matthew 7:21

Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but not do what I say? Luke 6:46

For it is God’s will that you should be holy: You must abstain from sexual immorality; each of you must know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, 5not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God; and no one should ever violate or exploit his brother in this regard, because the Lord will avenge all such acts, as we have already told you and solemnly warned you. For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness. Anyone, then, who rejects this command does not reject man but God, the very One who gives you His Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
If all a person has is a dead, empty confession of faith in Christ when He returns, that person is not going into the kingdom of God. But so many people in the church are being told that's all you have to have to be saved at the end of the age. Even Paul said the faith that justifies is the faith that acts. Galatians 5:6

No true believer will ever burn in hell fire . Its those who lip his name but in heart they are far from him .
Like i once was . Say , for example , if you saw someone who was promoting the gay agenda and they were proud to be gay ,
and yet when one corrects them and points them to sound doctrine , their response is , Hey GOD is love , HE made me this way
JESUS is my savoir . YOU do realize that means they know neither the FATHER or the SON . Just cause folks can lip the name
when the fruits dont add up , you know they do not know Him . Their faith is dead .
I mean surely you do know that not everyone who claims to know Christ , really does .
I mean look at all those mega rich preachers who got rich off the church by heaping and steeping .
Their love is money .
I will use kenneth copeland as an example . Do you really think that man belongs to Christ .
IF so , let me tell you what he said a while back .
HE said , I had to tell GOD to get the Son out of my way so i could get the job done .
Yet he can also lip the gospel that Jesus saves . Do you really think he has true faith . He does not , nor do many .
its simple really . BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST . But let us make sure its the biblical version of JESUS that we love
and not just another version of JESUS . Salvation truly is a gift . We are saved soley by grace .
God draws us to Christ and Christ is all we need . Let us learn and heed all of His teachings .

This is the problem in many places . They say a truth , that you must confess Christ to be saved . Which is TRUE .
But what Christ did they bring them too , or are they instructing them with all sound doctrine so as they can truly learn Christ .
OR are they teaching another image of Christ , one that serves the flesh , and not rather the true one and His teachings .

Formerly believers, now blotted out of the Book of Life, their faith taken away from them for their having not been productive Matthew 25:24
Ephesus is a good example . Remember paul warned about some of the widows that they had cast off the FAITH THEY HAD AT FIRST .
And Christ says to that same church , YE have left off the LOVE you had AT FIRST . It sure does and can happen .
Let us cling to the mercy of GOD . For even when it had happened , STILL His desire was that they perish not
so he warns them COME back TO that First love . aka , REPENT OR ELSE .

Correct.
The "BEGINNING" of wisdom "IS FEAR" of the LORD.

Unlike you, I surpassed the "BEGINNING" years ago.
The problem is you don't have this fear.....

Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will certainly not spare you either. Romans 11:20-21

Even if you don't think this has anything to do with salvation, it's still a fear we are to have, nonetheless. I don't see that fear in the church. Particularly in the Osas movements. And especially in the Osas movements like BB and Behold subscribe to. Instead, I see the very conceit and arrogance that Paul warns us not to have.

I don't want to be contrary, and I do agree the Bible doesn't teach OSAS, and I do agree that that passage is one reason people shouldn't hold to OSAS, BUT I also agree with Marks that the fear of the Lord is only the outset of wisdom.

After two hundred and thirty pages its time for some simplicity .
So here is a simple sober reminder . Make sure , make sure that election and calling
Make sure its the biblical JESUS and His sayings that we do love and embrace .
Learn what JESUS taught , learn what all the apostles wrote , learn all biblical sound doctrine .
For it is biblical sound doctrine that makes one wise unto SALVATION through our faith in Christ .
Things would clear up so quickly if we just simply returned to reading the bible for ourselves .
God is with the lambs . Yes indeed Christ is with the lambs .
Many men , over the years , have deceived so many . So its just time to return to our bibles and read them for ourselves .
I love you all my friends . I will begin praying even more that we do just that . Return to bibles and read and learn them well .

Given the context in which Jesus is speaking, he is talking about the people of his time (see the parallel passage, Luke 13:25-27). They are 'followers' of Jesus but who know only the baptism of John. Like Nicodemus, they only had the 'water' part of "water and the Spirit", John 3:5. And so it is with a LOT of Christians. They have entered into the waters of repentance, a decision to follow and serve Christ, but have not entered into the life of the Spirit. They are not born again. And so they will not see and enter into the kingdom of God.

I look at it like this....we fear God like we fear fire. We don't shake in our boots every time the gas stove turns on, but we are afraid of what that fire can do and so we respect it accordingly. That's the healthy fear of a maturing Christian.
