Preaching law causes sin - the preaching of law distracts a believer from who they are. When you are told you must do this or that to make you something, you are being separated from who you are. That is sin in the flesh. When a believer does not know who they are they lean toward a pattern of trying to act out a good life and the preaching of law helps them to live according to some made up rule of man - it is literally quite brutal to say the least. Have you ever ran across this type person they are so confused by what they are being told and they have probably never heard the true gospel. Maybe bits and pieces but never been taught who they are and this is how you can live.

The gospel is pure unadulterated life with no strings attached to it, you simply must believe the gospel to get anywhere in understanding in God. There is a multitude of people caught up in sin or the preaching of the law. The law will separate you from who you are and that is sin. Christ and the believer are in marriage relationship - let no man Put put Asunder.

he apostle Paul refers to the law of sin and death in Romans 8:1–2: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” What is the “law of sin and death”?

In these verses, Paul contrasts two laws: the law of the Spirit and the law of sin and death. The law of the Spirit is the gospel or good news of Jesus, the message of new life through faith in the resurrected Christ. The law of sin and death is the Old Testament Law of God. The Law is holy, just and good (Romans 7:12), but, because we cannot keep God’s Law on our own, the result is only sin and death for those under the Law.

Romans 7:5 explains Paul’s focus on the Law as leading to sin and death: “For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death.” In contrast, the “way” or law of the Spirit is noted in Romans 7:6: “But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.” The Law itself is not sinful (Romans 7:7). However, the Law defined sin and stirred up our natural rebellion against God’s rules, resulting in sin and death.

How can the Law cause sin, when the Law exposes the sin already present? You need to get a proper understanding between the Law of Christ and the Ten Commandments. While the New Testament clearly presents the position of the believer in Christ, it does not promote lawlessness.

Are you sure you understand the premise?

Freedom in spirit allows the believer to understand and move with the Spirit.

Good verses thank you.
