You tried to deflect this by saying "it's descriptive not prescriptive"... which was an endorsement of the words, only not as if it were a "commandment" to follow, since "descriptive" means it is merely "describing" what will happen. Am I getting you wrong?

If UNBELIEF applies to you...Yes, you should be in Fear.
However...UNBELIEF, does not apply to me!
Speaking what I believe, is not arrogance or conceit....if it were; Everything YOU claim that you believe would be You judging yourself as Arrogant and Conceited!
I do not Fear my Lord God.
I do not Fear my Friends.
The Lord God is my Father and my Friend.
If that same does not Apply to you...
* Then absolutely...Fear God...Fear He Will Break you off and you will be FOR EVER separated from Him.
* That is Not A Scriptural Teaching that Applies to a man Converted IN Christ.

Paul tells these words to believers--or, if you want to deny that, maybe they tricked God into believing they had faith so as to "graft" them in (though the text explicitly says the had faith)? Since they have had saving faith, and salvation (through faith) cannot be lost, according to you, why warn them this way? Makes no sense. If Paul's habit is to issue warnings that cannot occur, where are all the other ones? Why hasn't he issued many more? Maybe, "Make sure a unicorn doesn't drop out of the sky and impale your head with its horn," could be one. The possibilities are endless... but none exist. It's not his habit. He speaks solemnly, with conviction, warning about a real possibility.

The necessary qualifications for any person to be said to be practicing righteousness: 1) have faith in God, 2) have the Holy Spirit in him, 3) loving God, 4) loving fellow men.

Seriously though....a Christian is some body that has Christ “ IN” them......I got that.....that’s enough....” Christ is Formed in your Heart by Faith”.....I got that too....
My view is that when Jesus said only those who do the will of His Father will enter into the kingdom of heaven, He refers to those who truly believe. Those with whom God have a faithful and loving living personal relationship. In other words those whom God knew and who knew God.

I can see where a man with “ weak faith” like yourself would confuse The Unshakeable Trust Of a MATURE Believer who knows how to feast upon “ The Meat Of the Word” as opposed to staying on the Milk Bottle , would confuse those things with “conceit and arrogance” .......
I know how to actually REST in the Finished Work Of the Cross without adding to it.....that ain’t “ arrogance”—— it’s what Faith is.....I actually TRUST God and His Word.....If That is “ Conceit” .....I bet God would like to see some more “conceit” out of YOU
