Hi to all and Luke 13 is very fascinating verses .

Verse 6 , A certain man ( FOD THE FATHER ) had a FIG TREE ( which is Israel ) planted in His vineyard , and He came and sought FRUIT thereon , and found NONE .

The Priesthood , the land was blood srained , and did not worship Jehovah .

Verse 7 , Then the FATHER said to the Dresser ( which is Jesus ) of His vineyard , Behold these 3 years ( the 3 years of Jesus ministry ) and find no fruit ( cut Israel down ) why are use , Jesus , letting it just take up space , for no reason ?

Verse 8 , and Jesus answered , said unto the FATHER , Jehovah , let it alone this year ( which would make Jesus ministry 4 years ) TILL I fertilze and dig around .

Verse 9 , and if it bear fruit well , but if not , thou shall cut it down .

In Matt 3:10 , that the AXE is already to cut down , for we know that the Jews killed their MESSIAH and God set them aside .

WE see that they would not and did not accept John Baptism and Israel was cut down for over 1900 years and counting ,

This means that the Kingdom that the Apostles where expecting , Acts 1: 6 would not be restored , but was set aside in Acts 28:28 .

Which means that the Old Covenant or the Law of Mose was suspended , danp

Your 'interpretation' is truly amazing and your conclusions are abysmal....

Your 'interpretation' is truly amazing and your conclusions are abysmal....

I see you cannot offer anything about the scripture so you attack the messenger. How about contributing something of value instead of criticism.

Here is my take on it.

The Barren Fig Tree:

Luke 13:6-9
6 He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
7 Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?'
8 But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
9 And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.'" NKJV

Jesus (the certain man) spent 3 years in His ministry to the nation of Israel (the fig tree) and they did not accept Him as their king. After His crucifixion His apostles had about 40 years (to dig around it). But it never happened so God concluded that all had sinned and therefore He could offer salvation by grace to all. Up until this time the only way a Gentile could be saved was through a saved Jew. Now everyone is on a level playing field.
