Seriously, it's really starting to get annoying on this forum. I can read. Jesus only mentions ONE unforgiveable sin but yet I lost track of how many times on here I've read about how suicide is an unforgiveable sin, and being gay, and sexual immortality. Seriously,.. knock it off!!! It's false teaching!!! If Jesus would have meant any of those sins were unforgiveable He would have said them. Yet He meant what He said and said what He meant that the ONLY unforgiveable sin was the rejection of Christ and the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. That's it!!!! It says that right here in the Bible as well.

Mark 3:28-29.

So any of this other rubbish about other so called unforgiveable sins I'm going to completely ignore because Jesus doesn't turn anybody away who comes to Him which is seen in this Bible verse right here. John 6:37.

Each time the unforgivable sin comes up, I've heard a half dozen explanations of what it is. These people are listening to some hotshot preachers, teaching some higher knowledge no one has taught before, making themselve look really Godly to the unaware, when, fact is, they are anything but for changing scripture. Yet people flock to them.

Another reason for the false teachings, is the unforgivable sin is not pretty, so some change it to somthing more palatable, then others buy it hook, line, and sinker. A lot like some change the gospel to something easier.

One unforgivable sin, and it's blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, period, hands down, end of story.

Another reason I made this topic,.. I used to think that I was one of the people who couldn't be forgiven. I don't really want to get into all of the reasons why but I was scared that Jesus would never forgive me and it was a horrible feeling and I felt sick to my stomach. I don't want anybody else to go through that.
I see this problem with others as well . They feel like its too late for them .
Its not too late for anyone . IF SO BE they would simply return to Christ .
And repent of the wicked behavoir as well . Cause its sin that does war against the soul . And sin it is , that indeed
can harden the heart . The message to cease sin , must increase . I mean look at how paul approached it
He even said let it not ONCE be named among you as becometh saints . HE also said let all who name the name of JESUS
depart from inquity . YET today all i hear is , OH we just cant stop . How come paul and james and others
never just taught that . WHY did they make such a big ado about sin and the dangers of sin .
YET today i have heard false teachers teaching we just cant outsin the grace of GOD . SAY What .
That dont sound a thing LIKE CHRIST , or the apostles . Did you notice how fast they also corrected sin and error
and told others to correct , rebuke . this is absent today , cause a false love , a false goodness of GOD , of Christ
has been taught . THIS Is why i am begging with us all to go back into those bibles and really start learning for ourselves .
IT will be made clear and much quicker than you think . I want you to read over and over again the letters of the apostles .
AS you do i want you to compare what they wrote , how they appraoched things , then compare it to how todays men do things .
YOU gonna find out what i found out . And that is this , OH DEAR WE BEEN DUPED BIG TIME .

The problem with that is why would Jesus come up with an unforgiveable sin that was easy to commit? That's why if you're worried about having committed it then you haven't.

Agreed,.. I just don't want anybody to believe this nonsense and think that Jesus wouldn't forgive them of whatever sin they committed even if they repented and asked for it. That's my fear.
@April_Rose I think some people lack the accountability to sin, like children. But it is not up to man or ourselves to determine our forgiveness. God is the only one that can forgive sins.

Agreed, I do not believe that young children and animals go to Hell since God is fair and just.

A lot of the time, people just label behaviours with which they strongly disagree as sins, even to the point of unforgivable, just to guilt trip and manipulate others who see differently into falling in line and refraining from doing those things. I've seen it so many times on here.

I know, that's why I made this topic. I'm sure that even the staff members on here will agree with us that it's ridiculous how they're rewriting scripture.

Hehe join the club. :p Don't take it seriously or personally though, people will condemn other people to Hell with a drop of a hat.

Just remember that is still witchcraft . My advice is flee it all my friend . No matter how harmless it seems .
IT is still witchcraft . I advise any parent , NOT to let their children behold such things .
Find christain entertainment to guide the children , not witchcraft .

Just remember there is a warning:

Revelation 21:8 "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

Not that the sin is unforgivable, but to turn away from it.

Jesus gave the adulteress woman grace, out of his love so that she would turn to him, but he also said," Go and sin no more." He did not accept the sin, he said to turn away from it. And for those who are living that life, to not even eat with them, and Psalm 1 gives better advice.

Also "Do not be deceived, bad company corrupts good morals." We don't judge outside the church. We need to be careful where we stand and make the decision, do we love Christ or Satanic disobedience?

And I am not calling anyone out on sin, but I know this to be true. I was an adulteress who received that same grace.

Salutations
Seasons Greetings
The end

I don't think that anybody was saying anything against that though.

Also, picture this because I was once in these shoes. As much as you love Jesus and want to be with Him you don't believe that you'll ever be good enough and do good enough to make that happen. Gay people go through this all the time for example and Jesus loves them just as much as He loves us. That must be horrible for them to feel like that Jesus will never love them no matter what they do because it's a lie and couldn't be further from the truth and they need to know the truth.

Why do you keep bringing up the subject of gay people into your threads?

Umm,.. I can't think of anymore recently but I'm not gay,.. I just don't like the fact that many Christians think that homosexuality is an unforgiveable sin and that was just an example.
