That's a good find!
Obedience to God’s Word is absolutely necessary to salvation

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Romans 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Romans 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

The gospel is the Death, Burial, Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Peter said to:
1. Repent, (Death)
2. Baptized for the remission of sins (Burial)
3. Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Resurrection)

One last thing:
Jesus said, I tell you, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
The Acts skippers reply, Nay we are saved by grace and repentance is a work.

Now for everyone else obedient to the gospel:
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
You are in obedience to Peter and are truly saved.

You have not abandoned Acts 2:38 like the others.

I wish the others would follow your example, because it is hard to kick against the pricks.

Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38). This is one of the most confusing, intriguing and debated Scriptures in the Bible. Much of the confusion comes from searching man's commentaries instead of “search the Scriptures” as Jesus told us in John 5:39.

The confusion comes from the english translation. Not from what is written itself. Reading the english it does appear to say one must both repent and be baptized to receive the gift of the spirit

The issue is who Peter was speaking in each command.

Peter told EVERYONE to repent.

He only spoke to individuals about being baptized. It was not a command given to everyone.

So who was he talking too and why. This is what we must determine

Acts 4:13 Now when they(the acts skippers) saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus(how they believe salvation comes by repentance, baptism, and Spirit).

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.... (but the acts skippers replied, naw we be followers of Jesus)

And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.(but the acts skippers replied, no we be saved by grace alone, and absolutely nothing else)

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.(again, the acts skippers reply, do ye not know your very own thoughts, your focus is upon the unbelieving and not the believing and baptism)

So we just skip John. Where John and Jesus both multiple times say he who believes is not condemend, He who does not believe is condemned ALREADY?

How they said whoever believes has eternal life

How they said whoever believes has passed from death to life

How they said whoever believes will not be put to shame

And how not once did they mention the physical act of baptism.

Especially if you forget to post the entire verse...

Amen! (Acts 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 13:39; 15:8,9; 16:31; 26:18; Romans 1:16; 3:24-28; 5:1; 10:4; 1 Corinthians 1:21; Ephesians 2:8; 1 John 5:13 etc..) further refutes their claims of salvation by water baptism. Works-salvationists only care about isolating pet verses and building doctrine on them in order to accommodate their biased church doctrine, then ignoring the rest. It’s called flawed hermeneutics.

Amen, They call us Acts skippers.. Just because we reject their faulty interpretation does not mean we skip anything

And hereby we see your bias. You conveniently omitted the "baptism"

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved...

Shame on you!

Nope I did not omit anything. I just posted what John said. Is it your bias that you can’t show Me where the word baptize is in the verses I posted?

oh and Ps. I did fully believe and because of it I was baptized by God himself. So mark 16 was fulfilled in me

I later as a new disciple was baptized in water as Jesus Commanded in Matt 28

These verses debunk Acts 2:38, Acts 8, Acts 10 and Acts 19?

The Bible debunks itself or someone is not harmonizing it?

No

Your just not interpreting it correctly

The passages you give do not debunk the ones mailmandan gave. Yet if we interpret them the way you do. there is a huge contradiction.

The contradiction came from Dan that did not include Acts 2,8,10 and 19.

He is a mess.

You are in desperate need of properly harmonizing scripture with scripture before reaching your conclusion on doctrine.
Make sure you include Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:43 and 19:5 next time, Dan.

You conclusion will change dramatically.
