2. A dog returns to his vomit because he is a dog. You can teach a dog a new trick, but in the end he is just a dog, what do dogs do? They eat their vomit (mine eats it’s own poo! Why? Because he is a dog

that was the point, a dog returns to his vomit, because he is a dog

God did not make me into a dog. He made me into a person that is his child, sin does not taste the same it’s poison, that’s why I will never eat my vomit again, because I know what it is now.

The Israelites had their Faith, or Lack Of It , Tested—- Why should we today be any different? God is testing our Faith also.....Reject God’s Grace , Refuse to REST in the Gospel Of Grace and you will be just like the Israelites that got the “reward” of Wasting away in the dessert....

If you refuse to Trust God and If you refuse to Believe the Gospel and PROVE that you Really “Believe” it by Resting in it.....According to the Book Of Hebrews , God will declare you guilty of the Same Two things that the Israelites we’re guilty of——“Disobedience and UNBELIEF”......Serious stuff....

Many “ believers” are living out a “ Wilderness Walk” and don’t even know it.....Escape that miserable existence.....REST in the Gospel....REST in the Finished Work Of The Cross....

Adam and Eve were saved in the end.....they Were just like us , if you are a Believer .....God provided them with a Blood Sacrifice That pointed to Jesus and the Cross...They put their Faith in the Shed Blood Of an Innocent That God provided....it’s a “picture” of Jesus and His Shed Blood...

I believe that the “Vomit” is not referring to just ordinary Sins....the “ vomit” is the rejection of the Gospel that Saves if merely believed.....People were rejecting the Righteous Of Christ and returning to “SELF” Righteousness.....”who needs Jesus ? We got Laws we obey and animal sacrifices to cover us when we mess up....”

What are you talking about?

God did not give them a choice between keeping his commandments or not.

Neither does he in the New Testament.

"If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15)

"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments." (1 John 2:3)

After you have been born again, you must obey his commandments and laws.

"But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you." (Romans 6:17)

Were you a servant of sin, or are you still a servant to sin?

"Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin." (John 8:34)

If you are saved, you no longer serve sin:

"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." (Romans 6:6)
